The Forbidden Game

Sam- "Yes. Now, off you go. And remember, we'll be waiting..."

Miri- His skin is cold. Like the wall. Like frostbite. Like a freezer-burned treat. Like everythig else in this hellish place. I turn away, towards Divine. "Ready?" I whisper, for a whisper is all I can muster without my voice cracking.

Zack: Sam and I disappear from where they can see us and I begin to laugh, "They are just perfect!" I chuckle darkly.

Divine: I gave a half-smile, "Not at all, but let's do this." I say.

Sam- "Absolutely." I agree with an almost wolfish smile.

Miri- I walk to the staircase and hesitantly put my foot on the first step.

Zack: We watch them as they begin.

Divine: "Be careful Miri," I beg gently as we start up the stairs. "Tell me. What was your fear?" I ask nervously. What were we walking into?

Miri- "I- I don't know. I'm afraid of so many things. What about you?"

Divine: I blushed, "Um... well... my dad told me a story once about these men elves or whatever. They kidnap girls and sacrifice them to their king. That's what I'm afraid of."

Divine - I laugh lightly, "It's a stupid thing to be scared of, but it's my worst fear."

((Sorry I didn't reply before! My email was being stupid. ))

Miri- I shrug. "Not at all. In fact, now that you said that, it reminds me of a mummy movie where a man was buried alive with scarab beetles... that's wahat I'm afraid of."

((It's fine!))

Divine - I gave her a loving glare, "If we have to go through that nightmare, once we get home, I will kill you in your sleep."

Zack - I laughed in Sam and mine's private place as I heard their conversation, "Your girl has quite a temper, Sam."

Miri- "emphasis on the 'if'... where are the said nightmares, anyway?" I look around as we climb the stairs.

Sam- I chuckle. "Ah yes, but yours is afraid of everything. How long do you suppose they'll last?"

Divine - I see a door, "I'm guessing that's one... but which one is it?"

Zack - I think about it. "With yours being as stubborn as she is they'll try to make it all the way, but we'll say hello to them after this fist nightmare to try and wear them down, it probably won't be that hard to do."

Divine - We walk towards the door slowly. I turn the knob, opening it to find an empty room. We walk in, the door slamming shut behind us. That's when the scene began to develop. It was a forest, a sea of green. "Oh, so it's mine." I gulp nervously.

Sam- I smile wofishly. "It never is."

Miri- I swallow nervously. Then, cautiously, I walk in behind her.

Zack - I chuckle as well, "Come on." I say as I go to be a part of the nightmare.

Lolita - There were men dancing in a circle, beautiful, shirtless men. Too bad I knew what they were going to do. The began to make runes, bringing the elves towards us. We were captured instantly. Miri and I were split up, both taken to large rooms. I saw the man named Sam sitting on a throne with an evil smile on his face.

Sam- "Hello, Divine." I smile at her.

Miri- After Divine and I got split up, I lost it. This was her nightmare, not mine! I curled up in the fetal position and squeezed my eyes shut.

Divine - I raised my eyebrows at the throne, "Enjoying playing the part of the Elf King?"

Zack - I walked into the room where Miri was, "Darling, please get up."

Sam- "Enjoying yourself as the sacrifice? I daresay not..."

Miri- I think of my brave friend and manage to stand up. I smooth the front of my dress and fold my arms. "What now? You can't kill us yet; that would ruin the purpose of the game. So what now?"

Divine - I flinched, "It won't be that hard to beat this nightmare, it's a weak one." I lie.

Zack - I smile at her, "You think we want to kill you? How naive. No, we want more than that." I told her, cascading my hand down her cheek gently.

((Eh, isn't her name Divine?))
Sam- "And yet, its what you fear most. I have to say, I'm impressed." I lean forward, closer to her.

Miri- "Naive? Speak for your-yourself. My point is, what happens in the nightmare. I'm well aware that you don't want to kill us. But that's neccassary in both nightmares."

((SORRY! I'm writing a novel and the main girl's name is Lolita!))

Divine - I step back nervously, "And why is that?"

Zack - I smirk, "Actually, when women are sacrificed to the elf race they aren't killed, but are used to birth children since elves are all male."

((No, its fine; I do that, too))
Sam- "It's so... Fascinating the way you work. You act tough and stubborn on the inside, but when we fid a single stress point- your worst nightmare, for example- it doesn't take long for you to fall to pieces.

Miri- I recoil in shock. "What? That's discusting! And completely inhumane. Not that anything you've done so far has taken us into consideration at all..."

Divine - I was shaking visibly, "Everyone has things they are afraid of, I'm sure if I knew your worst fear I could do the same to you."

Zack - I laughed, "You didn't have to play the game."

(Aargh- I have to go! Sorry! I'll be back tomorrow!))
Sam- "Ah, yes. I used to have fears, but now theyre buried so deep inside of me, I'm not even sure I would recognize them, much less you.

Miri- "Yes, I did. It was either that or you and your creeper friend."

((Alright. Do you know what time?))

Divine - "No, I think I know just exactly what you fear," I say with confidence.

Zack - "We aren't that bad, I promise, we just like to have a little fun," I urge softly.
