C. D. - character development

David:
I rolled my eyes at Ventrix. I had to admit the guy had guts.

"What's the spell to turn Liz back?" Ezra shouted to Kiera. "I'm not going to do it. I just want to know!"

Kiera:
I shrug. "I don't know!" I call back. "Its an elvish spell anyway so the elves and a half elf like David can do it"

"Then how are we going to fix her?! She can't be a dragon forever!"

Kiera:
"What's so bad with being a dragon?"

"Nothing! But unlike you she can't switch back to a human! How's..how's that gonna work for..." said Ezra frantically.

"Ezra, it's okay. Calm down," sighed Liz.

"I can't! You're a freaking dragon!"

Kiera:
"Don't worry, I'll figure it out" I say.

"This isn't the time to argue," growls Ventrix. One of the angels lunges for him, and with a look of complete boredom he steps to one side, trips it, and jumps on its back. he bears it to the ground and, kneeling on its spine, hews its head from its shoulders. Another one tackles him at neck height and grabs his wrist as he tries to fight.
"A little help, please?"

Liz swooped down, spewing fire and narrowly missing Ventrix.

(I think we should wait for Winter.)

(I tried to get WD to come back, she said she was looking for a way to jump back in)

David:
"You missed!" I yell at Liz. "You missed him, why did you miss Ventrix?"

((Yeah. Ask her to get Aria to start fighting.))

Ventrix raises his head. "Because unlike some, she doesn't kill people for no reason."

(Can one of you message her? I'm leaving later today.)

Ezra nodded, "She doesn't. She's more of angel then the one's here."

If Liz hadn't been a dragon she would've turned bright red."I don't know about that...."

"That's because you're modest. You care about people, the living and the dead."

David:
"I still think it would make all of our lives easier if you hadn't missed him" I grumble, slicing an angel in half with my flaming sword.

Ezra laughed but Liz glared at David, which made her look terrifying. She landed, towering over David, "He doesn't deserve to die. The only reason I shot fire at them was because they're immortal."

David:
"One, GET OFF KIERA! YOU'RE GONNA KILL US ALL!" I yell as we plummet, "TWO! HES A JERK!"

(whoops though he was on the ground)

Liz moved to the side. "Sorry," she said in a small voice. Ezra laughed harder, even as a dragon she didn't want to hurt anyone.

Kiera:
I roll and pull up hard.

((Mrrh... Can you give me a brief assessment of the situation so I can jump back in?))

(Ok so Liz is now a dragon, Ezra's riding her. Kiera's back to full size, david's riding her. Andrew's still tied up and they're fighting now.)

Aria
I had to get the kid out of here... I'd lose money if he got away! But where'd he get off to? I'd lost track of him after the fight started.
...Aha!
"You're coming with me," I grumbled, grabbing him by the upper arm.

((Permission to magic him out of the building and away?))

Ventrix leaps to his feet and backs up behind the survivors of his strike squad to assess the situation. "That one!" he shouts, pointing directly at Aria. "That ones making a break for it!"

((Arg. We can't really go on until Gh gets back.))

David:
I hear Ventrix yelling. I leap off Kiera's back and yell "TEKKLEMEKKAN!" as I fall towards the building. Earth springs up forming a shield in front of me. I go through the wall and come up in a roll next to Ventrix. "D***!" I say, "I didn't know I could do that!"

(The angel buildings aren't made of some special substance are they? If they are I'll change it)

((Nope. They're regular brick and cement.))
