C. D. - character development

"That's neat," said Liz.

Kiera:
"Thank you, it is pretty neat!"

"Sounds neat," smirked Ezra. "I've never actually ridden on a dragon...what's it like?"

Kiera:
"I don't know,"I shrug, "I'm always the one being ridden by David"

David:
"It's amazing" I say, "For me, when I'm in the air, its so easy for me to think and its almost like I can talk to Kiera with my mind"

"Sounds like fun," said Ezra, slightly envious.

Kiera:
"It is, actually for both of us, its like a magical link or something" I say. I smile getting an idea. "David! Turn Liz into a dragon!"

David:
"What? I can't you know I can't!" I say startled.

Kiera:
"I know a spell to turn a human into a dragon! It is pronounced, draconis"

David:
"I can only do this if Liz consents"

"Sure?" said Liz, semi-nervously.

David:
"Great" I moan, sighing, "A new spell. Liz be prepared to be a dragon for a few hours if this works, I might be sleeping off the energy I've lost" I then bark, "DRACONIS!" the word of power flies from me and Liz becomes a huge blue dragon. I pass out.

Kiera:
I catch David, smile at Liz and say, "This always happens when he learns a new spell. Go on Ezra, Liz! Go flying!"

Suddenly, Ezra felt very small. "You're..a..a..dragon...?!"

Kiera:
"Yes, yes she is!"

David:
Snore.

"Um..wow...you're big." said Ezra, he had to look up at her and he was 6'1.

"Thanks?" said Liz, not sure what to say.

David:
Snore.

Kiera:
"Go on! FLY!"

"How do I...?" asked Ezra, looking up at Liz. He had no idea how to get on. Liz sighed, and picked him up in her mouth, carefully as not to bite his wings.

"Hey!" squirmed Ezra, she sat him down on her back in response.

"Are you sure we have this time to waste?" asks Ventrix.

"Yeah....probably not...but considering I don't give a—"

"Hey! What has Andrew ever done to you?!"interrupted Liz.

"Of course Andrew never does anything!" Ezra said sarcastically. "No, no, he's never insulted me or slammed his fist into my head! No perfect little Andrew never does anything wrong!"

"Why don't you like Andrew?" asked Evan.

"Mulitiple reasons."

David:
Snores.

Kiera:
"Well, Liz, now that your a dragon, you and Ezra and Dan and I could all go in the air to help keep the angels' attention divided while Ventrix takes one side, then Leslie slips in and gets Andrew"

"She won't get hurt...will she?" said Ezra, patting Liz. He didn't want her to get hurt.

David:
Snores.

Kiera:
I give Ezra a funny look, "Of couse she won't get hurt she is a freaking dragon! One, she's fire proof! Two, she is massive! And three in the air she will be so fast they can't touch her!" I say, "Both of you will be fine!"

"Oh yeah...right. Should I change back? I still look like an angel."

"I say we go now," says Ventrix. "You coming?"

"What about us?" asked Evan.

"Yeah. Okay Liz..." Ezra said causiously, he didn't want to fall off. Liz hovered a few good feet off the ground. Ezra, surprised by the sudden learch, started to slip but luckily he regained his balance.

Kiera:
I shake David awake.

David:
"Hmm? What?"

Kiera:
"Time to fight!" I say smiling.

David:
"Alright" I say groggily and I stand. I draw my sword and say, "Let's go!" Kiera changes and I leap onto her back. She takes off and we are soaring up after Ezra and Liz.

Ezra laughed, this was actually kinda fun. He grinned at the thought of what Andrew would say, if he had any luck maybe Andrew would faint when he saw Liz.

The Norlan soldiers lever the door of the warehouse open with their bayonets.
"As of now," shouts Ventrix, "You are now subjects of the Norlan empire!"
Then the shooting starts.

Ezra laughed softly, hearig Ventrix's order. They think they can take Angels...priceless.
