A New Ending

Alison: My mother found us and started to scoled me like I was at the age of 9 again. "YOU ARE NOT SUPOSSED TO BE WITH HIM! YOU ARE MARRING THE DUKE!" I kept my eyes away from Nathanial.

Nathanial: I decided not to speak a word, knowing it was wise to stay quite.

Alison: I felt tears comming down. Finally I broke. "MOTHER! I AM OLD ENOUGH TO MAKE MY OWN DESIONS AND I LOVE NATHANIAL! I DISLIKE THE DUKE! AND HE IS IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE!" I screamed.

Nathanial: I gently placed my hand on top of Alison's.

Alison: My mother looked hurt and left. I felt tears comming and I fell to the floor. "I am a rude selffish daughter."

Nathanial: I looked at her with love. "No you are not."

Alison: I pulled him down next to me. "Aye that I am. She needs the money since my father went to America." I cried.

Nathanial: I smiled. "And you do not think I do not have money?"

Alison: I smlied "I know you do. It all has to do with my mother and wanting to be rich." I shook my head full of distaste.

Nathanial: "I am rich, my love, very rich."

Alison: I smiled. "I know but my mother wont care."

Nathanial: I pulled her chin up with my finger so she would look into my eyes. "What do I have to do to prove myself?"

Alison: I looked at him and saw that he ment it. "You would have to present your self to my family at dinner. Come to dinner tonight. Then when my father comes home we may be able to get his blessing." I said

Nathanial: I smiled and stole a kiss. "Anything for you."

Alison: I smiled and kissed him back.

~ That night~

Alison: I looked in the looking glass. I was wearing a red dress with my dimond earrings and ruby neckalce both were my grandmothers.

Nathanial: I walked along the docks in the moonlight.

Alison: I wanted to run to the docks and see Nathanial but my mother had prepared a dinner for the Duke. I went downstairs and saw the Duke smiling at me. I came down and he offered his arm I took it without thinking and he lead me outside. "We are going for a walk. You look stunning my dear." I looked at him. "I am not your dear. I am sorry to say that.." "Follow me." He said cutting me off. I followed him to the beach and I looked around for Nathanial. "My dear I want you to look out onto the waves." Said the Duke. "They all have a partner which is this beach." He turned to me. "I want to be your partner." He nelt on one knee and said. "Be mine Alison please." I took a short breath freezing up.

Nathanial: I saw Alison and I became happier. I ran over to her. "Alison!"

Alison: I turned and saw Nathanial. I smiled but my face dropped when I herd the Duke call out. "Why Nathanial what are you doing here?" He asked harshly.

Nathanial: I hands clenched into fists. "Seeing the woman I love."

Alison: The Duke laughed. "And does this beautiful girl return your love?" He asked more to himself then to Nathanial. I looked at the Duke and then I looked at Nathanial. I did not want this for him.

Nathanial: "Yes, I believe she does." I grumbled back in reply.

Alison: I felt the Duke take me by my waist. He forced me to look up at him. His hand was hurting my face and he was squeezing me. The corset wit hhim aqueezing me was taking my breath away. "You are mine." He said slowly and forced his lips on mine hard and wanting pleasure not love. I tried to fight but darkness was comming over me.
