Days and Nights

Eric - It felt oddly good having her in his arms and kissing her.

Jasmine smiled and deepend the kiss she liked this.

Eric - I pulled back lightly, "let's go some place more comfortable."

David:
"Nothing, I used textbook fighting skills. I tried to get in the first blow she was too quick and got inside my reach, I went on the defensive then, but she was too fast" I reply. I spit at the vampire, "I still say you smell awful!"

Aribella - I rolled my eyes at him, "At the end, you were afraid were you not?"

Kaylee - I smirked, "He was. I saw it."

David:
"I was not afraid, I would just heal if she harmed me, I am a werewolf" I lie. Then a the vampire, "Shut up Leech!"

Kaylee - "Ha! You were terrified! Don't lie to her," I smirked.

Aribella -"Kaylee, David, stop it!" I said as if I was a mother to two rivalling siblings. "Now, David, you were too cocky, too serious, and then you became afraid. You let your emotions control you."

David:
"Y-you are correct, it won't happen again, emotions are a weakness that needs to expelled from my mind" I say nodding.

Aribella - I laughed gently, "It doesn't have to be that extreme. You want to know what I do that helps?"

Kaylee - I frowned, how could Aribella be telling him this stuff? He was too weak to be one of us! I was her favorite!

David:
"I would like to actually try again if you don't mind, I feel far more confident that I can win this time" I say.

Aribella - "Alright, but don't think of emotions as something you should never have," I told him, "just think of them as something like your fire. Think of how you can turn them on and off with a flick of a switch. It's easier that way."

David:
I nod and shift back into wolf form getting ready for a fight. Flames flicker to life on my fists. I closed my eyes to calm myself. I open my eyes again and the flames have moved up to my elbows, I grin, I am getting better control of both my fire and my emotions.

Kaylee - I snarled, this time I was the one with emotions. But my emotions were fury and hatred, and I would win again.

David:
A stream of flame juts from my hand at Kaylee. After I shoot the flames I feint left then roll right and come up shooting more fire.

Kaylee - I snarl at him as a fireball skims past my arm. I pull water to me, drenching him with it.

David:
The water steams on my fur. My internal body heat is sky rocketing to 250 degrees Farenheit. Then my body bursts into white hot flame. I almost lose it, then I calm down and walk towards Kaylee.

Aribella - I want to step in as I see Kaylee's temper rising, but I stop myself.

Kaylee - I take steps back.

David:
I raise my arm and coils of white hot plasmic flame energy fly from my arm straight at Kaylee. I say nothing, no gloating, no taunting, nothing. My emotions are under my control, I am not under theirs.

Aribella - I quickly push Kaylee out of the way and see as the ball hits a bench. I smiled at David, "You're good."

Kaylee - "No he isn't!" I gasped. "I let him win! And he smells like wet dog!"

David:
I drop the flame. Emotions flare inside me. I take a deep breath turn and say, "B***" over my shoulder at Kaylee.

Aribella - "Kaylee, it's okay that you lost, this is the first time, and David is good." I said easily. "There is a reason Eric wanted him on our side."

David:
"Now what?" I ask Aribella.

Aribella - I shrugged, "Don't ask me. All I know is that you're important."

David:
"Great" I say sarcastically.

Kaylee - "But I'm important!" I pouted.

Aribella - "David, I know you don't want to be, trust me, it sucks and I know it, but..." I trailed off.
