what happens in college

Brea: "Probably, ask."

Adam: "Who?" I didn't really wanna ask.

Brea: "Someone who works here, duh."

Adam: "I'm too lazy to find someone..."

Brea: "You're too lazy to do /anything/."

Adam: "And you just realized that?"

Brea: "Well...no. I just needed to say it."

Adam: "Oh...hey, there's someone," I said, pointing.

Brea: "Ask them."

Adam: I went over and asked the guy, who shrugged and told me it was my problem if a cat bit me, and I went back to Brea. "It's cool."

Brea: "Wow, you aren't as lazy as you say!" I said mock-shockedly.

Adam: I laughed and petted the cat. "Is that a problem?"

Brea: "No." I shrugged and petted another cat.

Adam: I grinned. "Just checking." I patted another cat. I kind of wanted one now.

Brea: "You're exasperating."

Adam: I laughed. "Exacerbating as well?"

Brea: "Maybe...if I knew what that meant."

Adam: I shrugged. "Same thing as exasperating, I think."

Brea: "Huh...learn something new everyday."

Adam: I laughed. "You're never done learning. You know that, right?"

Brea: "I do now."

Adam: "So that's two things you've learned today. Another point for me?"

Brea: I shook my head. "No. That doesn't count as a point."

Adam: "Why not?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Brea: "Because I said so." I smirked.
