Adam: I raised an eyebrow. "A few points, huh? As in more than one?"

Brea: I looked over at him. "Yes, as in more than one." I laughed a little.

Adam: I grinned. "I wasn't even trying to earn points."

Brea: "Then that's a nice little surprise, isn't it?"

Adam: I grinned. "Yeah, I guess."

Brea: "I mean, as long as you care about the points still. I mean, they may help with ... you know, um..." Getting back together. If the first time counted as together.

Adam: I shrugged. "Sure. I care about the points still. Why not?"

Brea: "Well, if you didn't care about them then you wouldn't really care if we got back together or not." Sometimes I just had to say things like that so Adam would understand -- he was slow sometimes.

Adam: I raised an eyebrow. "But I do care about that..."

Brea: "Yeah, so that's why it would make sense if you cared about the points. See?" I sighed. This was exhausting.
