what happens in college

Brea: "I guess so, it's cute enough. But you have to clean-up after it on the walk."

Adam: I shrugged. "Yeah, cool." I groaned. "Wait...I need to go buy something now..."

Brea: "Right now?" I raised my eyebrows.

Adam: "Trash bags. I'm not picking poop up with my bare hands."

Brea: "You didn't think of that /before/ you came?"

Adam: "No..."

Brea: I sighed and shook my head. "Well then go buy trash bags."

Adam: "I will. Can you walk her while I get them?"

Brea: "Yeah, sure." I nodded.

Adam: I grinned. "Awesome." I then jogged to a pet store.

Brea: I walked around with Brea the dog for a bit.

Adam: I grabbed some bags, paid for them, and hurried back to both Breas.

Brea: I smiled when Adam came back. "You should feel lucky that dog brea hasn't had anything to clean-up yet."

Adam: I grinned. "That's good. Thanks for your help."

Brea: "Friends help each other," I said.

Adam: I grinned. "Yeah. But it's also polite to thank your friends."

Brea: "That's true...I guess people also name their dogs after their friends?" It was just coming to me that the whole dog-brea-thing was a little out of the ordinary.

Adam: I shrugged. "A lot of people name their dogs Max." I ignored the fact that happened to be my brother's name. "No idea why. But it's not that unusual, I bet."

Brea: I blinked. "We weren't talking about how many people name their dogs Max..." Quick subject-changer, I guess.

Adam: "I'm just saying. Something I found out while researching dog names."

Brea: "When did you research dog names? You named the dog right after you got her."

Adam: "Still," I said, shrugging. "Doesn't hurt to look."

Brea: "Okay...." I trailed off.

Adam: I sighed. "So, how long did you walk with Brea the dog?"

Brea: "Since you've been gone, duh."
