Wishing stars

Ryder smiled and pulled her closer and kissed her head. "Forver." he echoed back to her.

Lucia started to get butterflies in her stomach as he echoed the word to her. "I love you," she said earnestly, looking up at him with with wide eyes. Her tones was serious, but slighlty dreamy.

"I love you." Ryder said as he looked down at her, his eyes echoing the love that was so prominent in his voice. He kissed her gently, not wanting this night to end.

"How do we make this night last forever?" Lucia asked, a slight smile on her face. She didn't want to go home, back to her parents. She was old enough to move out anytime, so why didn't she? Ryder was probably a key factor in answering that. If she didn't have Ryder or her parents nearby, she would get too lonely.

Ryder smiled and pulled a camera out and snapped a picture and handed it to her. "Now, you always have this night." He said as he adjusted himself to make laying on the grass more comfortable.

Lucia chuckled, pulling herself close to his side and resting her head on his chest. She closed her eyes, listening to him breathing and she started to breath in sync with him. Maybe... One day, if he didn't lose interest, the could get married. Lucia Samuels? Simple. Good and easy. Lucia Blackwood-Samuels? It was a mouthful, but it sound good, sort of mysterious.

Ryder held her close and found himself falling asleep as he held her.

Lucia soon started to drift after him, the thouhgt of ruining her dress in the far back of her mind. Thankfully, the night air was warm, insulating them.

Ryder woke in the early morning light and groaned, rolling to his side and burrying his face in her neck. He didn't want to wake up.

Lucia smiled, feeling him move. "Morning, Love," she whispered, her voice innocen and sounding happy. She had slept well, despite being on the ground all night.

Ryder yawned and grumbled a good morning as he held her closed, his fingers brushing over the open part of her back. "I say we go home and keep sleeping." he murmered, refuring to his home.

Lucia chuckled and nodded. "That sounds like a good idea," she said, sounding tired. She shivered under his touch slightly and couldn't wait to get to his house.

Ryder sighed and got up, helped her up, then packed up everything and took it to the car and came back for her. He got a mischeivious glint in his eye then swept her off her feet, and carried her to the car and set her in her seat with a kiss before going to his side and driving back towards home.

Lucia laughed softly and buckled into her seat. She had never imagined that someone with a rep like his would be so... Sweet and loving and funny and gentlemanly, but that was him. The world changing Ryder Samuels. And Lucia was lucky enough to call him hers.

Ryder took her home, but left everything in the car. He went around to her side and opened the door, lifted her out, and carried her inside. His parents were home, but they were spacing out infront of the tv and didn't even notice as he walked by. Well they did. But only long enough to tell him they were leaving in ten minutes for africa and that they wouldn't be back for a couple months.

Lucia closed her eyes, her head rested on his shoulder. She had opened them only once, catching a glimpse of his parents on the couch. She looked at him for a second and the closed her eyes again. They went into his room and she slid down, adjusting her dress a little. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world to sleep in, but she managed.

Ryder pulled her shoes off, kicked off his own, and then pulled the covers up and over her before slipping in next to her. He kissed her nose and cuddled her. He felt a little sting of anger at his parents, but at the same time he honestly hoped they'd just stay in africa the rest of their lives.

Lucia cuddled against his chest and closed her eyes, soon her breath was shallower, and she was asleeping. The whole time she couldn't stop thinking about how little Ryder's parents had regarded him.

Ryder had gotten hot while he slept and stripped to his boxers in his sleep. When he woke and saw that he had stripped he just sighed and rolled his eyes at himself. He didn't really care, Lucia had seen him in less than that. He just thought it was funny that he didn't remember doing it.

Lucia had rested hand on his bare chest, shivering slightly. She always got cold at night, so this wasn't normal. She pressed her body against Ryder, her shivering stopping a bit.

Ryder looked down at her and turned to his side, pulling her closer. He sighed and cursed his lack of the ability to go back to sleep.

Lucia felt him shift and opened her eyes sleepily. Before she had even said anything, she kissed him and then smiled. "Morning," she mumbled.

Ryder smiled widely at the kiss, it seemed to make the morning perfect even if it wasn't. "Good morning gorgeous." He said as he watched her, pushing her hair from her face gently.

"Good morning," Lucia said, stretching her legs out and yawning. "How are you?" She asked with a smile.

"Perfect." Ryder muttered and kissed her gently, a wide smile spreading across his face. "You know, I hope your boyfriend doesn't catch us. I don't think he'd like this to much." he said with a wink.
