Can Paranormal be General Fiction?

If your project is Paranormal, does that mean it can be General Fiction? On Inkpop, I've notice that some had Paranormal and General Fiction as their genres. Is that how it is?

Well, it really shouldn't be that way, but Inkpop is different.
There's Historical Fiction, General Fiction, and Non-Fiction.
So some people put General Fiction to clarify that it isn't set in the past and it isn't something that really happened.
