Mara- "Neither have I. Guess she's new here."

(could Milan just be getting dragon powers if she's half dragon?)

Milan closed her closet that housed her weapons, fully aware that there was something different about her, something was a little off. It was like she felt danger around her father and whenever she was alone, like she was afraid of herself.
Milan shook her head to try and rid herself of her worry and grabbed her bag and got in her car to head to school.

Her, ex. Out the last thing Ayah did I'm having issues typing.))
Ayah stared at them. They knew she was here, great. She flew even further back.

"Maybe we should let her be" I say.

Mara- I nodded. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea. She seems really nervous."

Milan pulled into a spot in the parking lot and slid an engraved and jeweled dagger into her purse before she got out of the car. She walked toward the doors of the school.

Mara- "Oh, it's getting late!" I exclaimed. "I should get back home. I'll see you tomorrow morning then?"

Ayah took a deep breath and thought about it. If she just stayed here odds are they would continue on their way and she could just go home. That was the best plan. But she didn't know any dragons besides herself.....
"Hello." She said finally.

Mara- I was shocked she talked to us, given how nervous she was. But I decided to just forget about it. "Hi," I said.

Ayah took another deep breath, this was okay. They were probably nice. "I- I'm Ayah, whats your name."

Mara- I smiled. "I'm Mara. Do you live around here? I don't think I've seen you around here before."

Ayah hesitated, "Yes, I live around here." She gave a small smile. "I haven't seen you either."

Mara- I nodded. "I'm just a couple of blocks away. Usually I fly around the forest, but I wanted a change of scenery tonight."

Ayah nodded nervously, "The forest is nice." She glanced behind her, why hadn't she seen them before? She looked back to the girl and gave another small smile.

Mara- "Is something wrong?" I asked.

Ayah shook her head, "No, I'm just not used to being around our kind." She gave a sheepish grin.

Mara- "Okay, that makes sense." I guess I was more used to being around those of our kind. We'd visit my cousins a few times, but not very often.

Ayah nodded, "I guess you go to school around here?"

Mara- I nodded. "Yeah, Coastal High. You?"

Ayah smiled, "Same." She looked to the sky. "You should probably be getting home, your family might be worried."

Mara- I looked up to see the moon high in the sky. "You're right. I'm usually not out this long." I look back at Ayah. "I guess I'll see you at school then?"
