Children of the Fire

Megan felt tears streaming and she asked "What is the name of the slayer?"

"Bryce." The dragon snarled.

Megans heart stopped and she felt faint.

(ah!haha)
Bryce- I couldn't find her at the beach, so the only other place I could think of looking was the forest.

(haha well this should get fun.)

Megan couldnt think or breath. "B...Bryce?"

"You know this slayer?" The dragon asked looking at her.

Megan shook her head but the dragon knew she was lying.

"You love a slayer?!?!?!?!" Yelled the dragon and threw Megan against a tree.

Bryce- I felt something was wrong and ran to the forest. My mind was screaming that something was wrong. "Megan?!" I shouted as I ran into the forest.

Megan couldnt get up. The tree fell ontop of her and she couldnt move.

The dragon laughed. "Pathetic human!"

Bryce- "Megan! Are you here?" I shouted even louder.

The dragon heard someone and could smell a slayer. The dragon chaned its voice to sound like Megan. "Over here!"

Bryce- I let out a relived sigh when I heard her voice. I ran over to where I heard her. "Megan?"

The dragon laughed in Megan's laugh then smacked him with it's tail. "Stupid human." The dragon said in its oringal voice. "There is your lover." It said pointing to the tree where megan laid unconsience.

Bryce- I fell to the ground. I saw Megan and fury raged inside me. "You hurt her," I said angrily, trying to stand back on my feet.

The dragon laughed "Yes I did and Her life slowly ticks away by every second you waste with me."

Bryce- I stood and glared angrily at the dragon. I began to reach for my pocket.

the dragon swung its tail and his him again. "Your worst then her!"

Bryce- This time, I dodged the dragon's attack and pulled out my sword(don't ask me how i hid it. dragon slayer secret) and slashed at his tail.

The dragon howled and pain and said in rage. "Until next time." And flew off.

Bryce- Normaly, I would've chased after the dragon to avoid a "next time", but I was more concerned for Megan. I rushed over to her and managed to push the tree off of her. "Megan? Can you hear me? Are you all right?" Please be all right!

Megan couldnt move.

Bryce- I started to panic and called my parents. Luckily, my mom was a doctor. She would be here in a few minutes to take Megan to the hospital. Of course, I had to explain everything that had happened, which my dad was upset about from what I could hear over the phone.

Megan woke up in the hospital with a nurse looking at her.

Bryce- I heard that Megan had woken up and I hurried to her room.

Megan smiled when she saw Bryce and whispered "Hey."

Bryce- I went to her side. "Hey, you had me really worried back there," I said.

"Im sorry.... THe dragon... wanted me to... kill you." Megan whispered with tears in her eyes.

Bryce- I blinked. "He tried to force you to do that?" I asked, wanting to go out and kill that dragon for hurting her, and now making her cry.

Megan nodded. She couldnt talk anymore. She needed him now.
