The Mermaids of Crest point

Kara- I heard a louder thump. What's going on?

Jason: I felt my stomach clench when I noticed it was Jake. he got up and I kicked him and set him to his butt again. He let out yet another groan.

Elizabeth: I pulled away from the kiss with difficulty and grinned. "Wow..."

Jake: I got up another time and was knocked down. I think he might have been enjoying this.

Derek- I chuckled. "Yeah..."

Kara- I heard another thump. What was going on out there? I stood up from the couch.

Jason: I let him actually stand. "What are you doing here?" I asked coolly. When he reached for something I knocked him down again.

Elizabeth: I rested my head against his chest and smiled. I couldn't have been happier.

Jake: I glared as he knocked me down again. "You're evil. That's why."

Derek- I put my chin atop her head and hugged her.

Kara- I immediately recognized Jake's voice. What did he mean by evil?

Elizabeth: I hugged him back, smiling contently when the door to my office opened. I slid out of Derek's arms. "What do you James and Blake?"
Blake spoke, "We need to tell you that it seems like with all the crime scenes that there was a male in black clothes with black hair and eyes."
I stared at them for a moment.
"So you're telling me it could basically be any guy in Crest point?"
They nodded gravely and left.

Jason: I glared. I was slowly starting to lose control. If I lost my temper, he would become a bloody mess. "What do you mean evil?"

Jake: "You're a merperson. All merpeople are evil." I stood again and this time was rewarded by a punch in the face that made my nose bleed and then he knocked me down with a kick.

Derek- "What's happening?"

Kara- I knew I probably shouldn't have, but I walked over to where Jason and Jake were. I saw Jake's bloody nose. "What's going on?"

Elizabeth: I ran my fingers through my hair. "They found out about a guy that was at each crime scene that has to do with our kind. It's a lead in these cases," I said softly. I took his hand. "Come on, lets get going."

Jason: I glanced at Kara. "Jake is going crazy." The second I turned to her Jake stood up and tackled me. I kicked him off of me.

Jake: I bit back another groan when he kicked me. I stood again.

Derek- I followed her.

Kara- My feet felt frozen to the floor as I watched nervously. How could Jason's own friend do this to him?

Elizabeth: I led him outside and down the block before I really calmed down. Normally I don't mind work a lot, but it was my day off and I wanted to spend time with Derek. "Once again, I'm sorry," I said softly as I intertwined my fingers with his.

Jason: I clenched my jaw. He would not stay down. "I don't want to hurt you worse Jake."

Jake: "Why would you care? You have powers that can be evil and you use them against people." I backed up as Jason strode across the room and lifted me a good inch off the ground by my collar.
"Who told you this?"
"A g-guy named Gary," I stammered. Jason was really scaring me. He moved and took me out side and locked me out of the house.

Derek- I smiled at her. "It's all right," I whispered. I lifted my free hand and brushed aside her hair to look into her eyes.

Kara- I sank to the floor with my back against the wall. There's some guy that wants Jason dead, and he sent his own friend! The stress began to get to me.

Elizabeth: I smiled softly at him and looked into his eyes. At the moment, I really wouldn't have minded Jason's ability to be able to sense emotions.

Jason: I sighed and looked at Kara. I knelt by her side and slid my arms around her. I could sense her feeling of being overwhelmed by stress. I held her in my arms.

Derek- "How long have these murders been going on?" I asked her, not looking away from her beautiful eyes.

Kara- I leaned against Jason's chest, breathing heavily. "I'm sorry," I said softly.

Elizabeth: "A couple of months. We haven't been able to get a lead. This person that was at each scene is the first big thing we have," I said as i looked into his eyes and struggled not to get lost.

Jason: I rubbed her back softly. "Why are you, of all people, apologizing?" I asked her softly.

Derek- "Well I certainly hope you catch this guy."

Kara- I hated that I was starting to cry in front of him. "A lot has happened today, it's just getting to me all at once." Tears began to flow freely down my face.

Elizabeth: I sighed. "So do I."

Jason: I moved slightly and pulled her in my lap. I started to wipe away her tears. "It's a lot to happen to anyone," I murmured softly.

Kara- I looked up into his eyes. "What are you going to do about your friend?" It was definitely going to be tense at school after today.

Jason: "Ignore him. He won't try anything at school because he doesn't want to get in trouble," I said and looked into her eyes.

Kara- "I hope he doesn't try anything again." Though the man he talked about would probably keep trying, unfortunately.

Jason: "So do I. But, if anything does happen, I can take care of myself as you saw," I said softly and brushed a kiss against her forehead.

Elizabeth: "You are real aren't you?" I asked. I was serious, but I was also trying to change the subject.

Kara- I smiled. "Yeah, I saw. Of course I do remember pulling you onto shore that one night."

Derek- "I'm here, aren't I?" I replied.

Jason: I opened then closed my mouth. "Touche."

Elizabeth: "True," I murmured and brushed my lips against his and pulled away. I let out a sigh. "I really want to tell you something."

Kara- I managed a small laugh.

Derek- "What is it?"

Jason: I held her close and stroked her hair. "It'll all be okay."

Elizabeth: I looked down at the ground. "I love you..." I said softly

Kara- I let out a relieved breath. "I know it will."

Derek- I put a finger under her chin and kissed her. "I love you too, beautiful."
