Jason: I pulled away and moved so Kara was behind me. "What do you want?"

Jake: "Same thing as before." I moved closer and pulled out a dagger.

Kara- I went wide-eyed when I saw the dagger, and I hid behind Jason, holding the back of his shirt.

Jason: I clenched my jaw. "Really Jake? You know if a teacher sees that you'll be expelled. If you kill me, you'll go in jail and your chances of getting into Harvard die. Is that really want you want to risk? Do you really want to risk your future for some guy that could be crazy?"

Jake: I paused for a moment. I felt hesitant. He was telling the truth. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to hurt him. After all, I had known him my whole life.
