--Daycare--

Teeny!Evan:

"How old are you?" I asked, looking up at the older me.

"Sixteen. What about you?"

Sixteen, and he...I still h-have..?! "Eight, does...does it ever stop?"

"It hasn't yet..." he said quietly.

Evan:

He looked like he was about to cry, "Hey..it's okay."

"No it's not! I..I don't want to have any more bruises, or scars, or..or anything else that I have to hide!" he sobbed. I wasn't sure what to do, so I put my arms around him.

"It does get better, not with the beating, but you will meet someone. Who will help you, and love you, and you'll be able to trust her." I whispered.

"I will? I'll be able to trust her?" he sniffled, his body shaking. I nodded, letting him cry on my shoulder.

Andrew:

I went around looking for Tommy. I found him sitting in a corner, hidden by shadows. I crouched down in front of him, "We need to talk."

"What's there to talk about?" he said, fingering the edge of his ragged clothes.

I sighed, "I'm sorry about earlier...I shouldn't have yelled. It's just-"

Tommy:

I glared my grey eyes at him, "It's just what? I'm smaller? Not older than you? It's not the same?"

A surprised expression crossed his face, "How...how..?!"

"Andrew, you were my best friend, you're not that hard to read but that doesn't mean you should treat meany differently."

"Tommy! It was six years...six years...everything's changed."

Ezra:

I walked outside, only to find my younger self swinging on a swing. I strided over,.unsure what to say I sat down on the next swing. I couldn't help but stare, it was weird.

"What are you looking at?" My younger self asked me, glaring up at me with my eyes. Yup...it was me.
