The Mermaids of Crest point

Alison gave him a shy smile. "Alison." She said smiling up at him. She stood and dusted off her butt. "Nice ot meet you." She said looking down at her feet.

"Hey, you wanna get away from here?" KYle asked. "It's kinda noisy, and I was actually just going for a walk on the beach." He smiled.

"Sure... if you dont mind being seen with the 'emo' girl." She said using air quotes around emo. She hated titles and yet she was the 'emo' girl. She always hated it and she wanted it to stop.

Kyle looked at her for a moment, realizing what must've been bothering her. "And what exactly makes you this so-called emo?"

"DOnt ask me... ask everyone else who thinks it. Its a title... I hate titles. I am who I am if they dont like it then they can say something to me." Alison said with a nod.

Kyle grinned. "Good for you. It never matters what anyone else thinks. Titles are just unnesseccary and plain useless."

"I agree!" Alison said with a small laugh. She closed her eyes but quickly opened them when a vollleyball smashed into her head. She fell to the sand and the people laughed and snicked 'emo' girl.

Kyle frowned and glared at the people laughing. He looked at the ball laying in the sand and picked it up. With a grin, he took out his pocket knife and stabbed a long line into the ball, deflating it. He threw it back to the people. "Oops," he said sarcastically.
He returned to ALison and bent over, offering his hand. "You okay? That was a hard hit."

Alison was dizzy but took the hand. "Thanks...." She said blushing slightly. She closed her eyes and groaned. "It hurt... really bad." She said with a sigh.

Kyle frowned and pulled her to her feet. He began to gently rub the area where he thought the ball hit. "Does this hurt?"

"Yes..." Alison winsed in pain. It hurt but it helped the pain. She closed her eyes and let him rub it.

Kyle continued to massage her soar head, when he pulled her closer and kissed her there without thinking.

Alison was surprized by the kiss. "Why did you just kiss me?" She asked pulling away. She looked at him puzzled.

Kyle looked at her. Why did he just kiss her? "I guess it's a habit. I do it everytime my little sister gets hurt."

"You kiss your sister like that?" Alison asked raising a polished eyebrow. Her lips tingled and kind of wanted him to do it again. But she didnt even know him.

"Well, yeah. My mom does the same thing with her. I'm kinda forced to do it sometimes." He looked at her and smiled.

Alison stood on her tiptoes and her lips met his again. Hey she liked to be kissed. She didnt know why but she wanted his lips more and more. Her lips melted into his and she smiled under it.

Kyle was surprised at first, but decided he liked it. "What was that for?" he asked, smiling.

Alison shrugged. "I have no clue." She winked at him. She felt more confident with him there. She sighed and said "so..."

Kyle smiled. "Well then, let's go for a walk."

Alison nodded and wrapped his arm around her slim waist. "Might as well pull of the acting as a couple." She said with a small. She kissed his cheek and laid her head down on his shoulder.

Kyle chuckled and wrapped an arm around her. "Might as well," he replied.

Alison smiled and felt something inside her. She felt her heart gain speed and her head was spinning. He ws her first kiss. I know sounds wierd but he was.

Kyle smiled and began to lead her down the beach, away from the crowds.

(Oh! Megan... you got banned for on liners one time.. I dont know if you saw that.. haha... Crappy time to mention it =/ I know... haha sorry...)

Alison sighed when they were alone. "How long have you been here at the beach?" She asked thinking. She went to the sea side school. She had never seen him before today.
