Children of the Fire pt 2

"NO!!! I NEED BOTH OF YOU DEAD!!" It hissed. "Bryce... no.." Megan said weakly. Tears sprung from her eyes. "Dont... do ... or... say.. that... our... baby... dead..." She cried.

Bryce reached out and took hold of her weak hand. "I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you, love." He felt the tears coming realizing his own baby had just died. He glared at the dragon. "Why?! Why do you need us dead?"

"Oh the stupid mind of a human. I might as well tell you. You both.. have a history... you love her and she loves you. Soon I forsaw your children taking over the dragons. I cant not have that happen. You both shall die." It hissed.

Bryce was quiet for a moment. He didn't understand why having a baby would result in the dragons' downfall, but there was one thing he did understand. He had to get Megan out of here. He then remembered the knife he kept hidden in his sock. He pulled it out and stabbed it into the dragon's forearm.

The dragon hissed in pain but didnt let go. "Pathedic human." It snarrled. Megan felt her life slipping away. Her lungs couldnt get the sweet taste of oxygen.

Bryce was starting to become desperate. He had to save Megan. He stabbed the dragon again. He had to save her. He had to.

The dragon chuckled a deep throated laugh. "You shall not escape me agaiin boy." It hissed. "She is gone." It added with a victorious smile. Megan was limp in the dragon's hand. (Dont worry she will come back!)

Bryce stared wide-eyed at Megan, limp and lifeless. "N-no, she...can't be...gone..." Tears began to flow down his face. He had failed. He had failed to protect the love of his life and she was gone.
(poor bryce)

( I wanna give him a huge hug)

The dragon laughed a deep laugh. "Now you pathedic hunter... your love and your baby are both dead." It hissed and laughed. It gave him a dark smile and they stopped at a cave. The dragon threw Megan's lifeless body on the floor and let Bryce go. It flew away and it would be back in less then 2 hours.

Bryce went over next to Megan, the tears still falling down his face. How could he have let this happen, especially now? When they were going to become a family. He held her in his arms, rocking her back and forth. "I'm sorry," he said in a whisper. "I'm so...sorry."

(hehe.... this is where my plan kicks in)

Megan stood ontop of a rock in the middle of the ocean. SHe looked out and saw something comming. She tried to look for a place to hide but nothing was there. SHe stood and waited to die. "It is not yourtime..." A voice came. A snowy white Dragon looked at her with its piercing blue eyes. "You havea choice to make... dive into the water and never return to the rock.. or you maybe lay down and you shall come back when it is your time." The dragon left. Megan stood there and got ready to dive. But something held her. SHe lied down on the rock and closed her eyes.

Bryce continued to rock back and forth with Megan still in his arms. He didn't want to let her go, just let the outside world fade away. Then he could be alone with the person he loved, even though she was dead.(so he thinks)

(hahahaha XD Ikr!!)

Megan felt something... someone was rocking her. She let out a lsight moan. She couldnt say much... She felt something wet fall down her cheeks. Tears... tears were falling. She could hear someone but who?

Bryce didn't hear her moan, but still kept rocking her. He couldn't stop saying those words, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Why couldn't I save you?" He was getting mad at himself.

(NO BRYCE!!! LISTEN LOOK AT HER FACE!!! *slaps Bryce* LOOK!!! DANG YOU!!)

Megan couldnt say anything. Her words were caught in her throught. He thought she was dead. NO!!! BRYCE!! IM NOT DEAD!!! she wanted to scream and kiss him endless. She rembered her dead child and the tears became a stream.

(haha this time he's gonna notice)
Bryce then felt something wet on his hand. Was it his tears? He opened his eyes and saw that they weren't his tears, they were...
She's alive. But...how...?
"Megan? Can you hear me?"

(YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Megan let out a moan. SHe wanted to answer him but she felt too weak. She couldnt even open up her eyes. She let out another moan and cried even more to the death of her child.... her and bryce's child.

Bryce began to sob and pulled her closer to him. She was alive! "Oh, Megan! I thought I'd lost you. I'm so sorry!" He couldn't stop blaming himself for what happened.
I should've been more careful. Our baby would still be alive if it wasn't for me!

(FINALLY!!! *kisses Bryce* THANK GOD!!!)

Megan got some strenght andwhispereD" Not...your...fault... stupid.. drangon... fault." She said with difficutly. SHe needed him right here and right now. She looked at him and her lips found his.

Bryce still felt the tears falling as he kissed her. His hand began to run through her hair, as if trying to comfort her to let her know he was here, and also that she was still here. "I love you," he said against her lips, not wanting to part his lips from hers.

(hahaha)

Megan nodded and found the strength to wrapp her arms around his neck. She kissed down his neck and back up. Her lips melted onto his and she wasnt going to let them go.

Bryce deepened the kiss, rubbing his hand up and down her back. He was still in shock, realizing that she was still alive, but he was also really happy at the same time. He looked lovingly into her eyes. "I thought I'd lost you," he said before kissing her some more.

"You can never lose me." Megan whispered against his lips. She pulled back gasping for air. "I... love.. you... but we need... to get out of here... before the dragon.. comes.. back... carry me?" She said in a heap of gasps.

Bryce smiled at her words. He nodded. "Of course I'll carry you," he said, lifting her in his strong arms. "I'll make sure we're long gone by the time that dragon comes back. Maybe we'll even find some shelter." He looked outside. "I think it might rain." He was then grateful for all the survival lessons his father gave him, in case something happened. Those skills were about to come in handy.

Megan cuddled against him. "I love you.." She whispered with a yawn. She slept and dreamed of them and a new baby girl. She was beautiful and her name was Aria.
