Children of the Fire pt 2

"No." Megan lied smoothly. She felt as if she could run a entire marathon but she didnt want to leave Bryce's arms. She smiled and got dressed. She handed him his clothes. She tried to fix her nasty hair but it didnt work. She sighed and held her arms out for him to take her in.

Bryce quickly got dressed and looked at Megan with a huge smile. He went over and picked her up in his arms. He gazed into her eyes. "Comfortable?" he asked with a grin.

"If I am in your arms I am very comfortable." Megan said kissing his jaw. She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. The warm sunlight made her black skinny jeans feel hot but she liked the warmth. It was close to how she felt last night with Bryce.

Bryce smiled and walked out, back into the forest and leaving the cave behind. The area looked somewhat familiar and he figured he could probably find a good and safe way home. "Don't worry, I'll get you home safely." He kissed her forehead.

"I trust you." Megan said with her eyes still closed. "Mhm." She hummed. She felt good inside his strong arms. "I love you... I dont feel like I say it enough." She said with a smile.

Bryce smiled and rested his head on hers. "You make me very happy every time you say it," he said. He was probably the happiest person on earth right now.

"Good because you are going to feel happy for a long time." Megan said with asmile. Her lips brushed against his jaw. "I really do love you."

Bryce chuckled. "I look forward to that," he said. "I love you so much, I never want to leave your side for even one second."

Megan smiled at his words. For once she believed them and she knew that he ment it. She was speechless. She looked at him and her lips brushed against his.

Bryce stroked her arm with his thumb as he held her. He loved the feel of her in his arms. It was the best feeling he ever had.

Megan let out a steady sigh. "I want to have another baby... this one will not die.. I promise." She vowed him. She would be a excelant mother.

Bryce smiled. He was very happy. "Then we will have another baby," he said. He was going to be extra protective now. There was no way he'd let something else happen to his family.

Megan smiled at him. She kissed his jaw and asked "HJow long till we are back?" She asked looking around them. THey were surrounded by trees. She felt small and shy in bryces arms wit hthe trees.

Bryce glanced around. "I don't think it'll be long. I think I know where we are," he said. He then noticed a certain, small tree. It was bent over and odd looking. "We're almost there. I recognize that tree." He began to walk past the tree. It wouldn't be long now.

Megan nodded and laid against his chest. Her mind was racing about having a family. SHe knew that child birth hurt and sucked. Did she want that pain?

Bryce walked faster the more he knew where he was. He smiled when he saw the familiar sight of his house. "We're back," he said.

Megan woke up and looked at him. "This is your house?" Megan asked wide eyes. The house was huge and she liked it. But then she started to worry aobout his father. "Your father..."

"It's all right," he said. "Once he hears about the dragon, he'll probably treat you like his own daughter. He's a dragon slayer, like me." He then remembered something. "Crap! I lost my sword. I'll have to look for it later."

Megan looked at him and cussed. "Im sorry... I forgot you lost it." Megan said blushing a deep color. "Im sorry."

Bryce grinned. "It's all right," he said. "I can always get a new one. We have our own personal armory for emergancies, just like ours." He carried her inside and noticed everything was quiet. "I guess they're not home yet."

Megan nodded and nuzzled against his neck. "Show me around?" She asked smiling at him. She would have missed him if she died. She was glad that she was with him... now and not waiting for him to die.

Bryce smiled and carried her throughout the house, explaining who had what room when he arrived at the bedrooms. His was kind of small, but it was a pretty decent size. The house, on the other hand, was large, so it took him a while to show her every room.

"I like your room." She said with a smile. She got out of his arms and looked in it. "I like the small size. Its a good size." She said with a smile to him. She looked at his cds. "WHat type of music do you listen to?"

Bryce grinned and entered his room with her. "I don't really have a favorite, but I do like acoustic more than other genres. What about you?"

"Screamo and rock." Megan said with a shrug. SHe didnt care and closed her eyes. Her head hurt and she couldnt breathe.
