Kidnapped

Tara: "Then Ill try not to tick you off." I crossed my arms, protecting myself from the water I remembered filling my lungs. Ugh.

Aiden: "Are you scared of water or something?" I asked her.

Autumn: "And I thought I'd be the last one to crack."

Rose: I turned and glared at Autumn. "Would you like to be bacon?" I asked.

Tara: I glared at Autumn's comment. "I'll tell you later, okay Aiden?" Now Autumn was walking with us, and I didn't want to talk about it with her around. So I ran up to walk with Rose.

Aiden: I nodded.

Rose: "Hi there. I assume you want to follow me?" I asked.

Tara: "I just don't want to be with her." I sighed. "Where are we going, anyway?"

Rose: "This way, very fast. Something gets in our way? Turn."

Tara: "I guess that's our only choice, huh?" Just then I spotted the opening to a cave and a smile spread over my face. I ran up to the mouth. "I guess it was a good one, too."

Rose: "See? My strategies rock." I said smugly, and followed her into the cave.

Tara: It was a fairly small cave, with no tunnels leading farther back. It was a little bit cold. "Rose, do you think you can make a fire? For warmth and if we want to cook something."

Rose: I sighed. "I suppose..." I said overdramatically. I put some sticks on the ground and imagined them on fire. Poof. fire.

Tara: "Perfect." I looked around. We'd be sleeping on the hard cave floor, or would we? I saw a large pile of leaves outside, and some tall grasses. I imagined them woven into "beds" of sorts. Four "beds" whizzed inside and laid themselves pin-wheel-style around the fire.

Rose: "Nice. Not only can you be crunchy granola and figure out how they feel, but you can magically weave them too." I laughed,

Tara: "Pretty much." I laughed. "You've done something and I've done something, so now Aiden or Autumn has to find food." I turned to the two.

Aiden: "Fine, I suppose I could find water and dry it out and grab some fish and dump it back in." I said, and walked off.

Tara: "I'll come with you." I didn't want to be left with Autumn, even if Rose was there, too. I matched his pace.

Aiden: "Hey." I said.

Tara: "Can you feel if there's a river nearby? Or is that not part of the water-powers-thing?"

Aiden: "Not really. I feel like I'm surrounded by water though, probably because of groundwater. That really throws me off."

Tara: I shivered at the thought of being surrounded by water. "Do you think you could follow the ground water to a river?" Well, that sounded like something a nerd would say, but oh well.

Aiden: "Not when it's everywhere."

Tara: I nodded slowly. "Hmm, then I guess we'll just be walking until we can see it." I sighed. Great, now I'd be walking with Aiden, not Autumn. Not all that much better.
