Ember: "You are one of the few i know." I commented, smiling to him. "so, what did i miss at this school?" I was away for what, a week or two? something had to happen while i was gone.

Jack: "Uh, I didn't know you were gone..." I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly, hating to make anyone feel unimportant that way. "You missed the Halloween dance. Lucky you, since it sucked." I laughed.

Ember: "Darn, Halloween is my favorite holliday." I sighed.

Jack: "huh, really? I like the candy part, but the dressing up bit is kinda childish." I shrugged. "And...I think there were some kind of auditions. For the talent show or something?"

Iliana: As soon as Jude left, I felt weak and couldn't keep up a good attitude. But I didn't want to give his parents the wrong impression, so I excused myself to the bathroom. I walked down the hall, and then locked myself in a stall. There I let the tears roll down my cheeks. I hadn't even said goodbye to Jude.

Jude: Hmm... DId you know people dreamt while unconcious? Well they do. And I had dreams of Amy, my little sister, and how shed look now. It lasted five minutes, and I was awake, blinking, disoriented. I heard the doctor say 'done' in an amazed voice.

Iliana: I could hear the clock ticking, from where I still was inside the stall. I walked out and looked in the mirror. Wow, I was a mess. I cleaned off makeup that had dripped down my cheeks, and attempted to defrizz my waves. No such luck. It was past five hours - I was sure of it.. Did that mean the surgery had failed? My heart sunk. I'd have to face it sometime, now was better than later. I slumped out of the bathroom and down the hall to Jude's room.

Dr. Miller: Incredibly pleased with the surgeons, I walked into jude's original room where his parents and Iliana waited with a bit of a bounce. The whole room was quiet when I walked in, his parents and Iliana staring at me intently, waiting for the news.

Mrs. Mr. Sims: We waited expectantly, playing for success.

((Aw, but you know my specialty is drama, hehe ))

Dr. Miller: "The surgery was successful." I smiled, showing off my stereotypical, unnaturally white, doctor's teeth.

Iliana: I didn't let myself get too excited just yet. Maybe the doctor was lying? Iliana, you're a mess obviously, doctors don't lie! And indeed I was a mess, since I was having mental conversations with myself. "Where is her then?"

Dr. Miller: "He's in the Recovery Room. I'm afraid you can't go see him just yet. He's still a bit dizzy and loopy from the knockout medicine, so until it wears off you'll have to wait."

Mrs. Sims: "How long?"

Dr. Miller: "About an hour. Remember, his memory is still coming back, and the medicine didn't help, so be patient and give him time to remember. He might not know who any of you are for at most, 24 hours." Every silver lining has a cloud...

Iliana: I groaned. "Again?" I ran a hand over my face from stress. I was glad Jude had made it, but I couldn't believe I'd have to go through explaining who I was again. UGH. Hopefully that would be the last time he forgot, and I hoped he remembered Amy was dead this time.

Jude: Three MORE people walked in. Jesus, how many people came to see others? There was already a party of five in one corner, talking to this one grandpa. i was light-headed, disoriented from the surgery and medicine. A lamp would turn into a palm tree for a bit, and a doctor would suddenly sprout wings. I was in an iffy mood. I hoped no one would visit me.

Iliana: After awhile I couldn't take it anymore. Without saying a word to Jude's parents, who were somehow asleep, I slipped out of the room to the place Jude was being kept.

Jude: And now a girl? Alone? Who visited someone alone? Maybe a brother? Well where were the parents? A husband? Maybe... I sighed and wheeled my wheelchair to a wall and rested my head there. I began humming a random tune, watching a giraffe walk around the room, though i knew it was probably a tall tan doctor.

Iliana: I walked slowly and carefully over to Jude, who looked a little insane. Maybe I should have waited after all. He was humming...and intently staring at a doctor. "Jude?"

Jude: My head snapped up at my name. "What?" I said, a bit rudely to the girl who walked in. I felt a bit bad.... but i was SO loopy.... didnt have a grasp on reality. Ugh..

Iliana: I bit my fingernail, upset. "You don't know who I am, do you?"

Jude: "No. Should I?" I asked her, slightly in wonder as to who she was. She was reallly pretty. I knew her? Really?

Iliana: "Yes," I sighed. "I'm Iliana, your girlfriend."

Jude: "Are you?" I asked wistfully, watching a a car- or was it a handicapped person? run wheel out the door. I wondered if anyone would get hit. "They should stop the car before it hurts someone...."

Iliana: Oh. My. Goodness. I slid down the wall I was leaning against, and sat on the ground. Like the time with Jude in the hallway, except now we were in a hospital. And Jude was a cripple. "There is no car, you had too much medicine or something. Hopefully it'll wear off soon, so you can remember everything."

Jude: I looked at her. "So I WAS right..." I muttered, to my mind. "This cast is freaking annoying. Can I take it off?"
