Iliana: I slid into my seat beside Jude. "Ugh, I'm still not use to you being so short," I laughed, not meaning it as an insult.

Jude: "Just wait. When I can use crutches I'll seem like a giant." i said with a laugh.

Iliana: "That'll be better, then I can look up to you like normal." I realized we were in Biology, and was surprised Ms. Hall hadn't said anything about my being late.

Jillian: I watched Iliana walk in discreetly but didn't call her out. "Ok guys. Today we are going to start a mini-project. I want you all to make an individual food chain consisting of at least 15 links. You can use the computers for research or your textbooks, and you'll turn this in tomorrow at the end of class."

Jude: "Well that sounds like a riot," i said sarcastically.

Iliana: "Bleh, it's boring but won't be too hard. We can't work together, but we can still sit near each other..." I stood up to walk over to the computers.

Jude: I laughed. "Loophole," I said, following her. "I'm going to do a food web on the.... rainforest biome!" I imitated a 6-year-old excited boy.

Iliana: "Hm, I'm going to be more creative. A high school food chain, what do you think?"

Jude: "Good idea, but too easy," i joked. "But ask her. She might accept it."

Iliana: I rolled my eyes. "I don't need her permission," I muttered, but knew I did. I walked up to Ms. Hall's desk. "Can I do a high school food chain?"

Jillian: "Hm?" I asked distractedly, looking up from my book. "Oh, yeah! That's a cool idea, go ahead." I smiled. Ha. High school food chain. THat is a good idea.

Iliana: "Thanks," I smiled at her before returning to Jude. "She said I could do the high school food chain. You wish you had an idea that good," I teased.

Jude: "You have no idea." I muttered, slightly distracted as I created the third link.

Iliana: "Aw, Jude, you have good ideas, too...like having a nerf war at Walmart!"

Jude: I laughed. "So true. SOrry, I'm focused on this."

Iliana: "Oh, I didn't mean to distract you," I said quietly, feeling guilty, and returned to researching. Not that I needed to do much, I was living inside this food chain.

Jude: I smiled as I added a 6th link. "Don't worry about it. So wanna know something pretty funny?"

Iliana: "Uh, sure?" Random much, Jude? I laughed shortly.

Jude: I smirked. "Nasim and Michael, and Derek and Chloe are all going to the movies tomorrow but they don't know it. I'm predicting theyre gonna meet up and it'll be awkward. We, however, will not have to deal with that, because we are being non-cliche and having a movie marathon at my house." i laughed

Iliana: I laughed, but it died out and I frowned. "I'm worried about Derek, though."

Jude: "Worried? ABout Derek? What'd he do now?" I asked, scrunching my eyebrows.

Iliana: "He really, really likes Nasim. But she doesn't like him back. And I'm afraid he'll do something very stupid."

Jude: "How d'you know she doesn't like him, and how do you know he likes her? Just asking...? And stupid like what?"

Iliana: "Because I know Derek, and I know he likes her. And Nasim wouldn't be going out with Michael if she liked Derek, I don't think. And stupidity is limitless when it comes to Derek."

Jude: "Well what are you worried he'll do?" I asked, putting my pencil down and looking at her, my attention 100% hers.

Iliana: I sighed. "I dunno, blackmail her," I laughed, even though it wasn't completely unlike Derek to do something like that.
