((Okay, you start))

Derek: I passed Nasim in the hallway, it was basically just us, since for some reason this hallway was empty. It'd be awkward not to even acknowledge her, wouldn't it? I nodded her way, like I had this morning "Hey, what's up?" Not really wanting an answer, but knowing Nasim would probably take the question seriously.

Nasim: I caught Derek's eyes and held them for a bit, unsure whether or not he even wanted to talk to me. "Good... and yourself?" I thought about telling him what i was doing to make HIM happy, but decided against it. He could just learn about it tomorrow.

Derek: I shrugged. "I'm alright. Chloe and I broke up..." I felt weird leading someone as stupid as Chloe on. She was already saying 'I love you' and all that junk. We'd been going out for three days, three days. She always had thrown herself at me.

Nasim: I kept looking at him. "Oh. I'm sorry. Such a short time, too...." I really wasn't sorry, since I totally expected it to happen, but.. a break up is a break up, I suppose.

Derek: "I didn't like her that much, remember: she was only my rebound." I casually referred to the lunch conversation. I was over it already - that drama.

Nasim: "Right..." I said, looking away finally. "You know I'm going to break up with Michael?" I blurted out. DAMN. it slipped....

Derek: "Why? Don't you like him worshiping the ground you walk on?" I smirked.

Nasim: I made a face. "No. I'm breaking up with him to make you happy." That sounded like I was snapping at him, so I kept my eyes soft and showed no expression.

Derek: I raised my eyebrows. "And why exactly would that make me happy?"

Nasim: I rolled my eyes. "I don't know, I thought it would since you got angry about it yesterday..."

Derek: I shrugged. "I get over things easily. Especially people."

Nasim: It was my turn to raise an eyebrow. "Really? Well that's great. I guess I won't have to deal with breaking up with him. Thanks, Derek. You really saved me there..."

Derek: "Yeah," for a second my eyes softened, but I instantly put the wall I had built back up, hiding any of my feelings. Guys don't share feelings...unless they're Jude. I smirked and patted her shoulder. "What are friends for?" Then walked off.

Nasim: When I thought he was out of earshot, I muttered "douchebag..." and began walking back to my class. I HAD been going to nurse's office, because I needed time to contemplate how to break up with Michael, but since that wasn't needed...

Derek: My head snapped around. "What was that for? Won't you be happier with your perfect little boyfriend? I'm really doing you a favor."
