Lena: "No, no I believe you." I pushed the phone back towards him. I took a deep breath. "I've just had my own experience with this, and wouldn't be able to live with myself if you turned out to be that kind of bastard." Not after I thought we were friends.

Quinn: My eyes widened. "You don't understand. I'm ready to give up everything just so this baby can have as normal a life as possible... I've already screwed it by having it out of wedlock..."

Lena: "No, what I'm saying is I understand that. That you're giving up everything for the baby. That's really...that's really sweet, Quinn. You have no idea how many guys have walked out on their pregnant girlfriends. It's nice to know you're not like that."

Quinn: "I don't want her to be a complete bastard," i muttered harshly, the word burning my throat.

Lena: "She won't be, trust me. She'll have the best father in the world!" I smiled.

Quinn: I grinned. "Hope so. Her mom isn't such a good bet, though..."

Lena: I shrugged, "My mom isn't good, and I turned out alright-" I stopped mid sentence. "Okay, I didn't, but you're baby will be fine."

Quinn: "Yeah you did," i said, looking at her. She thought to badly of herself when in retrospect she was a nice person.

Lena: "Thanks," I forced a smile, even though I knew it couldn't be true. "Well, anyway, I have to get going." I waved goodbye and headed back inside.

Quinn: "Well wait," i said, grabbing her wrist and sitting her back down. "Class is half-over. Is there really any point?"

Lena: "When your GPA is verging on plummeting below a 3.0 there is," I said, standing back up. Quinn could do whatever he wanted - he had good grades. Not me, though, I sucked at school.

Quinn: I frowned a bit, eyebrows furrowing. "I'll tutor you. Free."

Lena: I perked up. "Seriously?" But then frowned. "But dude, I really gotta get back to class!" I pleaded.

Quinn: "I'll bet you I already had your class. I can teach better than the teachre, promise." My eyes pleaded for her to stay.

Lena: "It's art class," I muttered. "Why do you need me to stay here, anyway?"

Quinn: I shrugged. "Because it sucks to be alone..."

Lena: I sighed and rolled my eyes. "You're acting like a five-year-old," But I sat down anyway. "So when can you tutor me?"

Quinn: "Anytime you need me. Skylar plans to tell them at the seven-moth mark, so we have a good two months ahead of us. And even then, I'll be able to help. Just not as much."

Lena: "Right..." My heart sunk as I thought of how I'd sort of lose Quinn in two months. It wasn't that long if you thought about it. One of the only friends I felt like I could really trust and he'd be gone. No matter what he said, he would be completely gone after the baby. I sighed and nodded.

Quinn: My brow furrowed in concern, and I put an arm around her shoulders. "What's wrong?"

Lena: "Nothing, nothing." I wriggled out from under his arm, and thankfully the bell rang. I didn't want to burden Quinn with my feelings. Bleh. Even that sentence was mushy and gross. I stood up. "Am I allowed to go to class now I joked?"

Quinn: I laughed. "I should probably get to class, too. Call me about the tutoring, okay?" I got up and gave her a hug, whispering as I did so: "That one doesn't count." before walking away to my own class.
