Jack: I shrugged with a smile. "Maybe not, that'll be up for you to decide...Anyway, what class are you on to next?"

Anastasia - "Drama," I tell him, "and you?" I bit my lip.

Jack: I hesitated then grinned. "I guess today I'll have Drama, too."

Anastasia - I laughed, "We're doing Romeo & Juliet right know, are you up for that?"

Jack: "Bleh, I guess so. It beats math class. Romeo is such a whipped wuss, though." I followed her to the auditorium.

Anastasia - "Romeo is devoted and caring, he's the type of man that ceased to exist in the 21st century," I disagree.

Jack: "Exactly the definition of whipped," I laughed and held the door open for her.

Tara: I waved to Jack when he came inside, he was one of my best friends. With him was...Anastasia?! I'd be asking him about that later. I hopped down off the stage. "Hey, so Romeo & Juliet. Who wants to read first? Or do you want to read together...?" I asked, almost asking if they were 'together'.

Anastasia - "Oh, I don't know, Jack?" I ask. "Are you sure you want to be a quote-wuss-unquote?"

Jack: I rolled my eyes and grabbed the scripts from Tara. "I can act like a wuss if I have to," I mumbled and handed Anastasia a script before climbing up on stage.

Anastasia - "This should be interesting," I said before getting on the stage. "Show me what you got."

Tara: "So Romeo has just walked up to the balcony, and described you, Juliet. Then you said something, and go -" I gave them the summarization of what happened a few moments before in the script, then settled into a audience chair to watch.

Jack: I rolled my eyes and began:
"She speaks.
O, speak again, bright angel, for thou art
As glorious to this night, being o'er my head,
As is a winged messenger of heaven
Unto the white-upturned wond'ring eyes
Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him
When he bestrides the lazy puffing clouds
And sails upon the bosom of the air."

What a bunch of crap, I thought.

Anastasia - I kept in character but laughed mentally knowing he was dissing the lines he spoke beautifully.

O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?

And I'll no longer be a Capulet.

Tara: "I don't believe you love each other," I called out in a singsong voice. In truth, they were both doing brilliantly, but I wanted to see if I could push them.

Jack: I rolled my eyes at Tara then continued:

Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?

Anastasia - I pushed myself harder, throwing all the emotion of what happened with my father into my acting.

'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;

Jack: I was caught off guard by the intensity in her acting and mumbled through the last part:
I take thee at thy word.
Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized;
Henceforth I never will be Romeo.

Tara: I nodded when they were done, noticing how well Anastasia did at the last part. "That'll be all for today," I stood up then cocked my head to the side. "Are you planning on auditioning next week? For Hairspray?"

Anastasia - "I am," I tell her even though everyone knew that I would, Jack was the one no one expected to. I looked at Jack wondering myself if he would.

Tara: A smile spread across my face. "Great, Wednesday or Thursday after school. See you there," The bell rang and I headed out with a wave over my shoulder "Bye Jack!"

Jack: "Bye," I mumbled then looked at Anastasia with a smile. "Wow, you did great today."

Anastasia - "Thanks, I want to go on Broadway," I admit. "You weren't too bad yourself."

Jack: My eyebrows shot up. "Broadway?" I laughed. "So does Tara. And I sucked," I rolled my eyes. "The only reason I came to this class was for you, remember?"

Anastasia - "You didn't suck, you were actually good, I was surprised about it," I said.

Jack: "If there's one thing you have in common with your dad it's that I'm not sure whether to take what you say as a compliment or an insult." I laughed.

Anastasia - I laugh, "It was a compliment," I tell him.

Jack: I smiled "Great. But I'm no actor. Football? Yes. Drama? No. Come on," I hopped down from the stage, and held out my hand to help her down.

Anastasia - "True, you are such a jock," I say letting him help me off stage. I end up extremely close to him and blush.

Jack: I smirked at her. "Isn't it every girl's dream or something to date a football player?"
