Edgar:
"Depends... who is she? Is she even from here? If you're going to need her later we can just... bind her to the sofa... and if not... I have amalgamated several guns." I replied, stepping out of the way to allow her into the house. Murder wasn't nearly as much of an issue as it was years ago anymore. Especially if the people involved weren't of consequence. It wasn't an issue.

"I don't know, I snagged her at the entrance in between..." I look her over for any sort of identification, but there isn't any. What to expect in this place? "I suppose I will need her later on, if I am to go out again. We never fixed the problem with water..." Fixing everything neurally with needing to to be unconscious afterwords, vaguely registering the nausea before leaving the ugly container. "...Guns now? I thought you liked the art of it all." I reform quickly, getting nice proportions.

"I do like the art... however there is also nothing wrong with an expedited departure, I've found. It's sometimes just necessary to simply... dispense with someone. You know?" And quite honestly, I'd outgrown my torture space, with noise complaints coming in from my neighbors. It was dangerous to continue in that vein all at once. Once I got a better housing situation and some more power under my feet.
I reached into a cabinet I had installed and pulled out several feet of rope for the random woman. "Do you want the honours or should I go ahead?" I asked her holding the rope in neutral space for either of us to use.

"You may." I tended to still have difficulties with such objects at times, and having more heated molecules wouldn't help. I hum a laugh. Sofa, and he hadn't even known what a couch was...but then he read dictionaries. "I do know; I remember you getting angry with me about it on a few occasions..."

"Well, yes. I couldn't have graduated with counts of murder on my record." I stated as though that was perfectly obvious while binding the woman. "You kind of interrupted me mid project... so, if I disappear eventually, it's to go work on the computer. ...I don't actually really understand the keyboard I just received. Very perplexing." I stated, continuing the work with the rope.

"Some jobs require some hacking skills. I may be able to help," I say lightly, going to slink my way upstairs. Very little's changed, except for the size of this machine. Really, when is the ceiling going to give out on this thing?

"You think I'm incapable of hacking? pfft... You amuse me. The keyboard is more an issue than that. If it were simply some locked programme I wouldn't have had issues. The problem is... this. What do I do with this?" I held up the keyboard to show the lack of any kind of alphabetic formatting. It was much too long and quite a bit heavier than I'd intended, with several different types of seemingly useless buttons along the top, and elongated perplexing keys, and some kind of small interface screen. Furthermore it seemed to need some kind of external power source. I didn't understand. "I ordered a keyboard. This... this is not a keyboard."

"I did not say that. I'm saying perhaps in my world I've come across this mystery keyboard." I glance over when he presents the keyboard and smirk, laughing suddenly. "That is certainly a keyboard, but of the musical variety. An electronic piano."

"...A what?" I'd never been formally introduced to such a thing, and the fact that I could have accidentally ended up with one instead of what I'd actually ordered off the internet was unfathomable. Not that I disliked music, No. Not at all. I simply... didn't know what to do with something like that, and it certainly didn't meet my current needs. "What am I suppoused to do with it?" I asked, not sure whether it was worth keeping or not.

"I don't know. Plug it in and learn to play? It's very beautiful if you're skilled," I say, slinking over next to him quickly to take the plug, looking up at him curiously. "I think you'd like it. I understand it to be common in my universe that blind people learn the instrument."

She reached for the plug on the thing, and I dangled the wire out to her so that it would be easily accessible. "I do very much enjoy music. Perhaps this will have turned out to be serendipitous instead of unfortunate." I stated.

"Well put it down with the keys up," I instruct, going off to the wall plug. With some shifting of my density, I manage to give enough pressure to plug it in. It would be quite pathetic if I couldn't complete that task...

I did as she instructed and waited for it to do something once she had it plugged in. "...Pardon my ignorance, but... now what?" I asked, uncertain as to how to proceed.

I jump over and reform next to him. "The 'on' button..." I click the switch over, the speakers giving a small noise to signal their given power. "And then you press they keys." Holding out a finger, I come down on a key quick enough to act more solid, letting the note play. "I don't know any songs, however. Might it have come with any booklets? There's usually basic teachings that come with these things."

"I just recieved a box with a keyboard in it." I stated, listening to the note continuing to vibrate nearly imperceptibly around the room.
I contemplated the thing for a moment before pushing a few keys myself. ...That was ugly. ...How about... No. That was also ugly. ...That worked. I had hit several keys in tandem and it didn't sound disgusting. That was pretty good. This would be interesting. "So... I just figure out how to play songs I know on it and see how it goes? Essentially?" I asked, wanting to be sure I was thinking of it correctly.

"I suppose. There are books to learn by." I sink down comfortably upon the plywood floor. He couldn't really do his computer work without an actual keyboard, could he? It would be an interesting use of time. "Future you and I never got so personal to delve into musical talents and the like."

"I wonder if any of them have braille printings." I mused, in response to her statement on books. It was surprisingly difficult to acquire books in braille, for some reason. "Perhaps I'll have better luck learning to play via YouTube. And I suppouse we'll be finding out... eventually whether I have any musical talents at all. ...Though I really need to put in an order for an actual QWERTY keyboard." I stated, allowing my fingers to wander across the keyboard I possessed at current. Perhaps learning this thing would be an entertaining hobby.

I smile to him, flowing along the floor quickly to coil about him inhumanly fast, folding my arms over the back of his shoulders and tilting my head at him. "Oh, I skipped across universes to inspire you to get into music? That's nice..." My eyes fall, half lidded in a quickly setting in boredom as I put my head down onto my arms in laziness.

"Well then, what exactly did you come across the universe to achieve?" I asked, tilting my head down slightly to pretend that I was looking at her. "Because while the social visit is lovely and all that, I'm sure that we both have things to be doing... so enlighten me. What brought you here this time?" I asked, an amused smile creeping across my face.

"Exactly not that," I say lightly, smiling back lightly. "Various jobs requiring my type of expertise haven't come in for a while, so I figured I had time for a little vacation..." I glance over at him, 'hair' falling off my shoulder though still remaining connected from where it left. "Though I haven't been out of my city except for getting shipped here, and I like familiar ground."

"A vacation? Really. How nice. So I suppouse you will take up your previous accomodations on the sofa and it will be as though you never left?" I inquired, curiously. It would be odd to get used to having people around frequently again. However at the same time... it could be very amusing and fun... and now that murder wasn't something that was so concerning to me, it wouldn't be nearly as stressful.

"Yes, please~" I chime, patting his shoulder. "Still so polite, it's nice to be back to this. Everyone thinks you can just use a girl back in Gotham without consequence..." Rolling my eyes, I uncoil to stand on my own, but still leaning on him as my figure couldn't really support form by itself at such a height. "And is there something I might be able to do for you? Keep our deals, for old time's sake."

"Well, at the moment, all I'm doing is trying to sort out my platforms to try and conduct a coup and unseat the current monarchy. ...And attain immortality. So... if you ever wanted go and see how the current government is run... just for... you know, data collection I could use against them, that wouldn't be at all frowned upon." I stated. It would be nice to have someone doing research along with me, and perhaps we could get to some of the old amusing past times if the opportunity ever arose. That wouldn't be unpleasant at all.

"Coups are nearly my middle name," I chime, grinning to myself since he couldn't see. "Just get me a way in. A guard perhaps? I don't know if the lady I got downstairs is special enough... But that all depends on your government's security." As I remember, they weren't really big on doing the obvious around here.

"You can actually walk right into the front of the building. There's a completely useless suggestion box there, which is accessible 24/7. It should be of little consequence to trade out meatpuppets once you get into the building." I informed her simply. The only reason I didn't go in there and do it all myself was that I'd be really easily noticed, and she could simply become whoever she wanted, making it infinitely easier to get in and see. ...The actual seeing was also a plus, I'll admit.
