Zombie Road Trip!

Courtney: Through the little sunroof at the top of the bus, i saw two extra people. ooh. The guy was hot. perfect. ((she's a hoebag.. fyi.. XD)) I opened it and dropped in, landing on my feet. "Woo. Shelter!"

Grant: "Yea, you and everyone else," I say as I head to my seat in the middle of the bus where all my stuff was. I see Brian's eyebrow twitch as he turns around. "Nooo, no,no,no. How do I know you two aren't zombies? Or suicide bombers? Or rapists?" I grabs me and pulls ne towards him. "I will not let you take my little brother's innocence!" I roll my eyes.

Kali stands, trying to stiffle her laughter. "Don't worry. I won't steal your brother's innocence as long as he doesn't steal mine." She stood on a seat and swung her legs over the one in front of her to perch on top of it. "We're not rapists, or bombers, or zombies. Do you see us trying to eat you?" Leon looked at his little sister, appalled.

Courtney: I looked at the girl and boy. They could be siblings. "I am Courtney! Your lives are offically AWESOME!"

Leon raised his eyebrows at Courtney. "We're in a zombie-filled world and you call our lives awesome?"

Brian: "True..." I blink when I see the psycho drop into the bus. "Told you we should've ran her over," says Grant. I sigh, thinking. This probably wasn't go anywhere, and considering the fact that there are all these zombies and angry crackheads outside... "Fine, you're in," I force out.

Courtney: I smiled at the guy. "Ok, fine. They were made just a little less horrendous. I know how to have fun in the worst of times. You could ask my best friend. Well.. if she were still alive but you know. Not many people are." I shrugged and looked down. God. She was dead and that SUCKED.

Leon nodded and ran his fingers through his hair. His mom, his dad, his girlfriend...all gone. All zombies. He knew what Courtney was feeling.

Kali nodded at the two guys. "Good. We weren't going anywhere anyways. I'm Kali by the way. My brother's name is Leon."

Courtney: "And I'm Courtney!" I said, trying to force happiness. "Leon and Kali. No offense, but those names are ones I've NEVER heard of. Well. Kali, maybe, but not really Leon." I smiled inquiringly at Leon.

Leon smiled half-heartedly at Courtney and sat in a seat. "I'll take that as a compliment," he muttered, shutting his eyes.

Grant: "I'm Grant and that's Brian," I say. "Got any food?" Brian, whose begun to back up the car, frowns. "I just bought three weeks worth of pudding, Grant." "Yes. And it lasted exactley three days."

Kali laughed and took off the backpack she had slung over her shoulders. She threw it at Grant, almost falling backwards. She steadied herself before looking back at him. "There's some food in there, but not much."

Grant: I flip the bag upside down and shake it out. "Meh...you weren't kidding about that. Hey, Brian. Stop at the gas station. Then maybe we can make it to Uncle Fred's."

Kali looked out the window, her hand subconciously going to the ring that was strung on a chain around her neck. It had been her mother's wedding ring...Leon had their father's. Sighing, she got off the top of the seat and sat in it instead. "So where you guys from?"

Brian: "The great state of Alabama," we both say at the same time. "Hence the accent," I say. "How about you?"

Courtney: "Of course it was!" I said with a laugh, turning to face Leon. Then she heard something about food. "I have some incooked pasta in my backpack." I removed the drawstring and pulled out a pack of tortellini. "And a pocket knife. OH! and I'm from beautiful New York City!"

Leon heard something about food, but he kept his eyes shut even as his stomach growled. Instead, he welcomed the sleep that was pulling at the edge of his conciousness.

Kali nodded. "Virginia." She looked out the window again, watching the buildings wizz by. "Any idea on where we are now?"

Brian: "I'm heading to this gas station our cousins own to go see our Unle Fred. He might have a few... tips for us."

Courtney: Don't go to sleep, kid! I thought. Meh. Maybe he'd be more social after. "How do you know he;s not dead?" I asked, though it was a bit harsh.

Kali nodded, but when Courtney spoke up, she turned towards her. "Well, that was said nice and comforting," she muttered, playing with her striped hair.

Courtney: I noticed her hair. "Who. Does. Your. Hair??" I asked, admiring it's randomness.

Kali looked at the piece she was holding in her hand and smiled softly. "A friend of mine did it about two days before the world went to shit."

Courtney: "Oh man..." I looked at my black hair. It used to have a zebra pattern, but it had grown out. "I wouldda paid her lots to do my hair like that.."

Kali shook her head with a smirk. "That's why it pays to have connections. No money needed."

Leon-->snoring slightly.

Courtney: "Dang.. Hey!" I said, snapping at Leon. "Wake up fool! The bus's being invaded!"
