Zombie Road Trip!

Brian: "And, here," I say, stopping the bus in front of a cruddy looking gas station in the middle of nowhere. "Hey, Bill! Jackson! Haul your asses out here!"

Leon jerked awake, his eyes wide. "Wha..?" He looked around, seeing that they were stopped outside of a gas station, no zombies in sight. He narrowed his blue eyes at Courtney. "Not funny," he muttered, standing.

Kali got up and walked to the front of the bus, her hands in her pockets. "You sure it's safe?" she muttered to Brian, staring at the building.

Courtney: "I wanted to know where you got your snakebites. I've yet to see a piercing store around here." I smiled at him. "Oh sit down!"

Leon ran his tongue over his snake bites. He pointed to Kali's hair. "The same chick who did her hair. Only I've had these for a few years." He looked around. "Where are we?"

Brian: "I don't know about safe, but I'd say on a scale of one to tend, we're at about an eight." I hop down. "These two fine gents are my cousins Bill and Jackson. You guys know where Uncle Fred is?" They nod. "Downstairs in the basement. Be careful though. He's tweakin more than usual."

Kali looked over her shoulder at Leon. "C'mon, Lee." With a nod, he followed out of the bus.

Courtney: I followed Brian and Grant to the basement, making sure to stay next to Leon. "Is the place still open?" I asked him

Oh whoops...I forgot about that little thread o.o I'll get on it later, maybe. I'm on this one /and/ working to get 10,000 words on my new project. *nods*

Grant: "The better question would be 'when is this place gonna close.' You'll have to pry this place from Fred's cold dead hands. Mind the guns. He'll know if you even touch one of them," I say as we get further into the basement as guns start to line either wall.

Kali looked around at the guns, a smile forming on her lips. All she had was a small one tucked in the waist of her jeans. She didn't know the name of it, but what did that matter? She knew how to use it. That's all she really cared about.

Courtney: "It's very tempting," I said, eying a pistol. "But I'll resist." I took out the pocket knife and cut my wrist a little. "I'll last," I said, smiling as small beads of blood oozed out.

Leon looked at Courtney, a scowl on his face. "Why the hell did you just do that?" he muttered, plucking the pocket knife out of her hand.

Brian: "Wow, what a nice crowd we picked to travel with." I jump when a pistol gets aimed at my face. "Who are you all and what are you doing in ny house?"

Courtney: I took it back, annoyed. Maybe he was more annoying than he was hot. Shame. "Because everyone I love is dead, maybe? Besides. This is like, the third time I've cut myself. SO I'm not some freaky emo chick." I wiped my hand on my shorts and showed it to him. "See? It's not bleeding anymore."

Leon raised his hands. "Okay, okay. Just not used to seeing people cut themselves and smile about it," he muttered. He froze in his tracks when a gun was pointed at Brian. "Shit," he whispered, his eyes wide.

Kali froze next to Brian, staring at the pistol. She looked between the gun and the man holding it, heart hammering in her chest.

Courtney: I rolled my eyes. "Excuse me" I said, to the man with a pistol. "In case you havent noticed, we have no appetite for your flesh, so could you please show yourself in a less threatening manner?"

Grant: "Shut up!" I yell at her as a bullet goes whizing past her head. Uncle Fred was not one to be fucked with, no way, no how. "I'll say this again. Who are you and why are you here? I won't be repeating my self!"

((Mkay so courtney nearly got shot... but she's waiting for Chaos's reply on J.W.D.Y.T.Y.A...))

Courtney: I yelped a bit and hid a smile. Why hello, adrenaline. Welcome to the neighborhood of Courtney's Veins and Heart.

Kali was still wide eyed as she slowly started to back away towards Leon. Was this really thier Uncle Fred? Why in the hell would they want to come here? She clutched onto her brothers arm, her eyes never leaving the gun. Her free hand inched towards her back before grasping the handle of her own gun.

Courtney: I looked at Kali. "Don't effing try, girl." I muttered in warning. "Let 'em talk."

Grant: My eyes flicker over to the girl's fingers. "Don't do anything stupid," I mutter. Brian slowly steps forward, hands up. "Hey, Uncle Fred, it's me. Brian. That's Ulysses, and these are our friends. We just stopped by for a visit."
