And I guess Talon and Echo can talk to Jenny.
(Alright, but Jenny is a serving girl, so she'll come up and offer them something.)
Jenny: As I weaved in and out of the various clusters of people in the ball room, I spotted a couple by the door. The master's orders were not to let anyone have a moment of boredom, and from their position it looked like they were about to leave. I hurriedly walked over to them, carrying my tray of desserts. I smiled politely at them "Excuse me, would either of you like a sweet?"
(I'll fill out her character sheet in a second)
Echo: My eyes widen at the sight of the sweets. "Oh my. . ." I trail off, staring in utter fascination at the food.
Jenny: "Quite the selection, wouldn't you say?" I chuckled in good nature, trying my best to appear a polite, obeying servant. I looked at the guy with the girl who was ogling the desserts. They looked to be a little older than me. "If none of these interest you, sir, I'd be happy to fetch you something else?"

Talon: "I am perfectly fine with what is here," I say softly. Echo is still gaping at the food. I nudge her with my elbow, startling her.
Echo: "I'm actually fine, thank you," I say.

Jenny:"Oh, you decided you don't want anything? That's okay..." I shift my weight, bringing the tray back towards me. "Is there any other way I can be of service?"

Jenny:"Alright, have a nice night." I attempt to suppress a sigh, but it leaks through my tightly closed mouth. These people take fine food for granted, and people waiting on the even more for granted.

(I dunno what to say now.
They should talk to Gregory! I think that would be kinda funny.)

Kelly Moton wrote:Lark: "Jacob," I call out, wondering where he had gone off to. I feel lonely, standing in the center of the dance floor with no one beside me. Echo and Talon are near the door, talking to a girl with a braid.
Jacob: I hear someone calling my name and recognize the voice as Lark's. I kind of ditched her earlier, to come to Hazel's aid, so I excuse myself from Winipage and walk over. "Sorry, Madame, do you need something?" I smile, knowing she hates me calling her that.

Jacob:"Now you're talking in first person?" I smile, knowing that wasn't why she stressed her first name. "Jacob wants to dance with Lark, too."

Lark: "Good. Lark is happy now," I say. My eyes quickly shift to the side to find Echo and Talon yet again standing to the side, bored. I sigh and return my attention to Jacob.

Jacob:"Good, my job is to keep the guests happy." I smile, even though it's a horrible sentence. That's all my life will ever be: catering to others. And then I'll raise children to cater to others, and they'll raise children for the same purpose. It'll be a never-ending cycle, a waste of many lives.
Elena: I see a couple of the friends Gregory greeted earlier, the ones I didn't know, lingering by the door. I dearly hoped they weren't too bored; word would get out and then my balls wouldn't be quite so popular. I snagged three drinks from Jenny, the serving girl, and went over to chat. I smiled warmly, and held out a drink for each of them. "I'm Elena Livingston, who am I having the pleasure of meeting?"

Talon: I slowly took the offered drink. "My name is Talon, and this is my friend Echo." I gesture to Echo, who is straing down at the drink.

Jacob: "Extremely so, " I roll my eyes "But not with you, since you don't act as if I'm the scum of the Earth like most nobles do."
Elena:"Very nice to meet you." I sip my drink. "What noble family are you from? I don't recognize you." This is an important question in our society since being well-to-do is everything. Not so much because of the money, but what you can do with it. As they say: money is power.

Talon: "Well," I begin and glance over at Echo. Her eyes are on me. "Our friend is actual the noble, she just brought us along."

Jacob: I smile a little bit in question. "Does that bother you or something? It was actually meant as a compliment, in a twisted kind of way." I shrug slightly, trying to show her it isn't a big deal.
Elena: "Oh really," I arch an eyebrow skeptically, since you usually bring only an escort at the most "That must be the silver-haired girl, what's her name?"
