The Boarding School Chat Redux

There are two boarding schools in the town of AverageTown, Nonspecific:

Amherst
All-boys school

Winthrop
All-girls school

All students are required to wear a school uniform at all times on campus. For girls: Knee-length, pleated, blue plaid skirts; white blouses; knee-high, blue stockings; black Mary-Janes; and blue sweaters. For boys: white shirts; black slacks; black shoes; black ties; and blue sweaters. No exceptions! Show school spirit!

Character sheets will not be included. Introduce your characters through writing! You may use pre-existing characters from your own books or other chats, or you may create some normal schoolgoers.

Welcome back once again to two boarding schools ran by the last people you'd want to be und- er, I mean to the most wonderful schools you'll ever see!

The only change from the first time to this is that we now have a thread for you to post your character sheets on, here. The main reason for this is to make it easier to double check any details you might need to.

((So, I figured I might as well post something, that way when people are ready to start, it's here~I'll post with Vi and Damon in a bit.))

Danae

I stared at the building through the car window, then looked back at Trin who was shooting me a smug expression.
"You're just leaving me here?" I demanded.
"Yup," she replied, popping the 'p'. "Hope you don't mind. The rest of us have a bit of business to take care of, so I thought I'd find somewhere to put you while we're gone!"
I glared at her, hardly believing that she'd actually said that. Then again, this was Trinity. I shouldn't put it past her to say anything.
"I'm not a toy you can just put away until you need it again," I grumbled.
"Nope! You're a puppy that I can kick out until I want to let back in," she replied cheerfully. "Now, get out."
"Trinity..."
She leaned over me and opened up the door, pushing me towards it as soon as she had. Knowing there was no use in arguing, I slid out with a sigh. Within a minute she'd also shoved a few bags to the ground behind me.
"Good-luck~" she called out happily, shutting the door at the same time. "Make friends, don't attack anyone, don't turn into a raging wolf~ Hm... am I forgetting anything? I feel like a mother setting her child free for the first time."
I shot Colin a look where he sat in the front seat. In return I received a sheepish expression.
"Don't worry, the business shouldn't take long."
"Alright... bye."
I turned away and gathered up my bags before starting towards the school. Of course, Trinity couldn't just leave my goodbye there.
"Oh, and I really meant it! If we have to come back and get you cause you got expelled for attacking, maiming, or killing someone cause you couldn't control yourself, I'll be pissed!"
"See you later, Trin," I replied with a roll of my eyes, not pausing in my trek towards the front of the building. I could see students walking in the front door and I wanted nothing else but to get in there as well. Perhaps being free of Trinity for awhile wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Ilengrim

Dragon Empress Kieldgar patted her daughter on the shoulder. "I'm assured this is a fine school; suitable for one of our bloodline."
Ilengrim embraced her mother. "If you say so."
Kieldgar patted her one more time then disengaged awkwardly from the hug. "Take care, and uphold the family name."

Ilengrim hoisted her cases in both hands and marched in through the gates. She almost breezed past the smaller girl (probably Danae) in her path, but stopped for a moment. it couldn't hurt to talk to people, right?
"Hey," she said.

Kafadzwa & Onyekachi

The pair of them climbed out of the taxi and waited for the driver to open the boot. Onyekachi hugged Kafadzwa awkwardly, his arms a bit stiff.
"We'll get to see each other at weekends, I'm sure," she said.
"I bloody well hope so."
Onyekachi kissed her on the cheek then, taking his suitcase, lugged it up the kerb and in through the gates of the boys' school. Kafadzwa watched his retreating back for a moment, then began walking towards the girls' school.

Danae

Wait, she was talking to me?
Slightly surprised, I paused and hitched one of my bags higher up on my shoulder before tilting my head back to reply. My response died in my mouth for a moment, however, at the drastic difference I suddenly noticed between the girl who'd addressed me and myself. A second later I shook my head to discard that thought and put on a hesitant smile.
"Hello," I greeted. "I assume you've just arrived as well?"

Ilengrim

"Yes. By as well, do you mean..." She was silent for a moment, gesturing with her free hand as though waiting for the right word to fall into it. "As in, I am new here and so are you, or I am new here and you have seen other new people here as well? Or... both?"
This other girl was tiny, but Ilengrim resolved not to let differences like that ruin what could potentially be a useful alliance. Friendship. One of those things.

Danae

My eyes winded slightly as the girl spoke, her accent one I'd never heard. Although, I admittedly have little experiences with other areas, so it wasn't saying much to say I'd never heard it. Instead of commenting on it, however, I focused on her words.
"As in so am I," I informed her, then paused to consider how to continue. "I just arrived. I'm Danae, by the way."

Ilengrim

"Ilengrim Silverblade, Dragon Princess." She politely extended a hand, and hoped that using one of her titles wouldn't sabotage the conversation. "Pleased to meet you."
She shifted the bag on her shoulder to a more comfortable position.

Kinley & Luka

Luka and Kinley stood together, side by side, completely silent. They stared at the two buildings with an almost disdainful look — it had been forever since they had been in an actual school building. Yeah, their Buildings could be compared to schools... but they weren't.

Kinley huffed and dropped her camo duffel bag on the sidewalk, reaching up and pulling her dark brown locks into a tight ponytail. The scowl never left her face once as Luka watched his sister, showing little to no emotion.

"Ugh, this is so fucked up. And these damned uniforms? I can hardly move in them. It's absolute bull and I'm gonna leave."

"You're not going to leave, Kinley," said Luka, picking her bag up and handing it to her. "You're going to stay here, be safe, and we'll see each other on weekends." He nodded towards his school.

Kinley rolled her eyes and tugged her stockings up, mumbling a few choice words under her breath. "Right, well... Yeah."

"Yeah." The pair of siblings nodded once at each other before turning off in search of their rooms.
