Gabriel: "What?"

Rael: "Nothing," I said, smiling a little more.

Gabriel: "Well, you're smiling now, so I had to do something right."

Rael: "Yeah, you're hear... I'm safe-ish, and happy," I said.

Gabriel: "Safe-ish?" I pull away. "Come on."

Rael: "Y'know... I think I need to go to sleep," I said, not meeting his eyes. "I'll see you whenever." I stood up and started toward my bedroom.

Gabriel: I smile. "Okay then. I'll let myself out."

Rael: "See yah," I said, slightly sad. I changed and sat on my bed, my knees pulled up to my chest. I rested my head on top of my knees, staring at the blank wall.

Gabriel: "You still gonna lock your window, right?"

Rael: "Yeah," I called to him. I locked my window. "But, you kicked out my door." I just had to remind him.

Gabriel: I bite my lip. "Keep your phone close to you, then."

Rael: I nodded and put the phone on the bed next to me.

Gabriel: I got in my car and started back.

AWOL

Rael: I clutched the phone to my chest and crawled underneath my blanket, closing my eyes. I would have to wake up in about four hours and then pretend like none of this ever happened.

Gabriel: I close my eyes and focused on working my skills, feeling the turns.

Rael: (All she's doing is sleeping...)

(Make up something. )

Rael: I rolled over, my hand knotting into my hair and let out a groan.

Kitri? My voice was echoing in the white room, but I hadn't spoken. Then, in the center, there she was. Kitri, her long blonde hair, smile with missing teeth, and twig limbs.

She walked toward me and put her hand on mine and nodded. Wait, what does that mean? Another echo. She shrugged and suddenly we were in the field. The one that we had been in before she ran off... Before she died.

Automatically, I grabbed her arm, trying to prevent the inevitable. Please don't go. It was too late, she had already started to run off. I ran after her, but it was too late.

When I got to the brook, the water was already crimson, her hair dyed, too. She has laying face up like a small angel. I dropped to my knees and reached for her, but she vanished.

I sat up from my bed with a gasp and realized hot tears were rolling down my cheeks. I chocked a few times, trying to calm myself, but I couldn't. I had lost my little sister... Again.

Gabriel: It was morning, so I picked up the phone, Rael in mind. "You okay?"

Rael: i woke up, touching my face, which happened to be unusually warm. "Huh?" I asked picking up the phone. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. How are you?"

Gabriel: I laugh. "I'm always fine, darling."

Rael: i let out a small breath and my heart rose hearing the word darling. "Good to know... Will you be at school?" I asked, but didn't expect him to be.

Gabriel: "Today?" I got up and looked around the room. "Um...no. Not today. I'll pick you up though. How about that?"

Rael: "No, it's fine. I'll walk," I said, sounding a bit withdrawn.
