The rockin sound of the music

Carson nodded, her hand traveling up to her cheek subconsiously. "I would, too." She smiled a little, looking down. There were blooming bruises on her knees, too.

Evan: I followed Carson's gaze and saw her bruises. "What happened?" I whispered, just in case Lidnell was listening.

Lidnell: I started walking out of the kitchen and went to go find my bass and instead of playing I laid down on the couch and passed out. I could hear Evan and Carson talking by decided not to listen. Evan was an awesome kid but Carson I didn't like so much.

Carson bit her lip, hard, and looked down, running her fingers over her knee lightly. "I... M-my sister didn't show up," she said in a shaky whisper.

Evan: I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Zach stopped by," Carson said, her words shaking ever more. Zach had been an ex band member, and an ex boyfriend. After they had broken up, Zach had been angry at her... Really angry.

Evan: I remembered Zach. Even Lidnell was better than him. "Oh," I said, frowning. "Then why did you stay here all by yourself if you knew he might show up?"

Carson shook her head. "I didn't know. I wasn't expecting anyone to be here," she said.

Evan: I shook my head. "Well, you're not allowed to stay here by yourself next time. I won't let you, okay? Abuse isn't to be taken lightly." I knew that from my dad. He had no idea I'd changed my name. I hope he never found me.

Lidnell: *sleeping*

(waiting on Carson/Hooters...)

(tick tock hahaha)

(Ahhh, this has been going on for a while! How should I jump in?)

(Talk to Lidnell? He's lonely. Or interrupt Carson and Evan.)

Eliza: My eyes waver over everybody, looking for someone to talk to. I decide to head over to Lidnell. "Hey," I say.

Evan: I heard another voice. Eliza must be around. I stopped talking and listened to her instead.

Eliza: When I see that Evan is also there, I turn to face him. "Hey," I say with a smile. "How's it goin'?"

Evan: I jumped a little, surprised by her greeting. "Nothing much is up. Just chilling here, waiting for rehearsal to stop. Lidnell's stoned, so don't bother him."

Eliza: I chuckle. "Classic Lidnell. Alright, I won't. I'll just bother you instead!"

Evan: I laughed. "Sure. So, did you enjoy lunch?"

Eliza: I nod. "Yeah, it wasn't bad. You?"
