The rockin sound of the music

Lidnell: "Yep unless you want to do something else, I mean practice is in like what 2 hours. I know a guy where he can give us some drinks and some weed and we can you know just have some fun before all serious time again." I whispered to him so no one else could over hear.

Evan: I shook my head. "I'm fine," I said. I didn't want to end up like my dad.

Lindell: I nodded as I thought more and more about the guy and the drugs and the alcohol. I got into the car and drove off but not towards the theater but towards the guys house, Barry's house.

Evan: "Dude, where are you going?"

Lidnell: My facial expression became hard as I focused on the road while Evan is just sitting there in the passenger seat asking questions. "Just wait dude, just wait." I told him driving a little faster. I just need that fix, damn my family and my bass I need it.

Evan: I sighed. "Fine. But I'm driving back."

Lidnell: "You are going to have to man." I said pulling into Barry's driveway. I get out of the truck and go inside. I come back out with glassy eyes and a few bottles of whiskey in a paper bag.

Evan: I groaned. "We have practice in a bit, you know!"

Lidnell: "Jeez Eve! Stop pestering me. I'll be fine to play." I said sloshing my words as if they were one big word. I took a chug of some whiskey and handed some to Evan as I got into the truck. "Damn man you have to try this. It's so good!" I said smiling happily.

Evan: I shoved it away and started driving back.

Lidnell: I laughed at him. "You are so tense man! You need some fun!" I said laughing a little harder when the drugs and the alcohol started kicking into place. "I wonder if Genesis will have some of this delicious drink." I said swirling the whiskey in circles in the bottle.

Evan: I rolled my eyes. "Please don't distract me."

Lidnell: I smiled and drank some more of the whiskey as we drove back to the theater. "Man your so uptight. So uptight." I said mumbling.

Evan: I shrugged. "Just shut up and let me drive."

Lidnell: I was quiet until we got to the theater. "We're here." I said smiling dumb-foundedly. "Now let's go practice!" I yelled as the car came to a stop and tried to get out of the car but my seatbelt was on. "Oh stupid crazy me!" I yelled into the afternoon sun and unattached myself and as I came out and I misplaced a step and fell face first onto the cement. "Damnit! This pretty face of mine can't afford to break!" I yelled again.

Evan: I rolled my eyes. "Try not to die."

Lidnell: I got up with a huff and started out again towards backstage.

Evan: I rolled my eyes and followed him back inside.

Lindell: I managed back to the couch and crashed with a thud. I took another drink of the liquor I had in my hand and then grabbed my bass and started to play slowly.

Evan: "Um, dude? Seriously, you're stoned."

Lidnell: I looked at him smiling crookedly. "Are you serious? I can play just as good when I am stoned. /Maybe/ better." I said going back to the bass. I slid down to a note too fast and my finger started to bleed again. "Oh damn." I said until I stuck my finger into my mouth.

Evan: I groaned. "This is not going to work out."

Lidnell: I looked at him and got off the couch. "You have a problem with me?" I asked getting up in his face.

Evan: I rolled my eyes. "No, dude. Just shut up and settle down."

Lidnell: I rolled my eyes as my anger arose. "Sure whatever." I said going back to the couch.
