"What's what?" I say, reaching to my hair

Marley
"That...well, it kinda looks like a sea urchin. Maybe you should shower more often?" I suggested with a shrug

Faye
I move my hand around my head for a while, and then get a grasp on it. "Oh my gosh! What is it?!" I scream as I try to yank it off.

Marley
"It's not coming off!" I exclaim, trying to pry it off

Faye
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!" I shreik and hyperventilate, "An alien it sucking my brains out!!!"

Marley
"Alien's don't exist!" I yell, taking something out of my bag. A knife. But when I carefully cut at the purple thing, it just tightened it's grip

Faye
"Ahhhh," I scream, it's grip tightening, "Then what the heck is it!"


(we're out of walmart, right?)

I don't think they ever made it there

Marley
"I have no bloody idea! Should we burn it off?!" I ask, pulling out a lighter

Ohh, ok! Good, cause that would be awkward...

Faye
"But what if you burn my head!"

Marley
"Hair grows back! So does skin!"

Faye
"Ok, Just GET IT OFF OF ME!!!!"

Marley
I lit the fire under the alien...and it turned red "What the...?" Then fire started coming out of it's pores "Ah!" I found a house outside of walmart, and sprayed it. The alien turned blue

Faye
"AHH! Don't Do that again!" I scream and start spazzing and hitting my head

Marley
"It's changing colors!" I gasped "What now?!"

Faye
"Just get it off of me!" I cry. "Don't you have, like a gun or a knife or something!?"

Marley
"I TRIED the bloody knife! And my brother's the one with the bloody gun!" Then I try entering it's mind "I DON'T THINK IT HAS A BRAIN!"

Faye
"Mreerahhhhaaaaahhh!" I say, falling to the ground whishes I could just be unconsiuos already

Marley
"Try thinking! Like...maybe it feeds on a certain kind of thoughts!"

Faye
"Huh? Like, what about?"

Marley
"I dunno, experiment!"

(it feeds on fear)

Faye
"Umm.okay," I yeall, and through the chaos I try to calm my mind and tune out the pain. "puppies, cute little puppies! Puppies playing in a field of sunflowers!" I think, and say out loud

Marley
"THAT calms you down? THAT would make ME want to GAG! THINK OF BEATLES MUSIC, DANGGIT!" Okay, I was joking, but I figured some humor would help

Faye
I start half-laughing and half crying. "I'm just trying to distract myself! Puppies puppies puppies, bunnies bunnies bunnies, kittens kittens kittens, unicorns unicorns unicorns! Is it working? Rainbows rainbows rainbows..."

Marley
"YOU'RE NOT CALM YET!" She was totally freaking herself out "SERIOUSLY, CHILL WOMAN"

Faye
"Okay, okay," I say and take some deep breaths. I close my eyes and think about Charlie. I think about chasing him around the house, and talking to him at night, and defending him when people said imaginary friends weren't real. I think about how fun it was to be eight years old.
