Tara: Awww, that was cute. I blushed a little. "I'm already sick of you, though."

Jace: "Yeah, but..." I leaned on her desk. "You'll just have to get used to me hanging around."

Tara: For some reason I really wanted to kiss him - but I didn't. I looked down at my hands. "That'll take awhile..."

Jace: "I've got a while. And then a little bit more."

Tara: "Even when I slam the door in your face? That won't make you give up?"

Jace: I smirk. "Haven't you already done that?"

Tara: "What if I...date someone else? Will you give up?"

Jace: I shake my head. "Nope. In fact, that'll only make me try harder."

Tara: "So my only option is to give in, or else have a stalker?" I frowned.

Jace: "Well, stalking requires me to follow you around and I'm only interested in following you around at school. So...it's give in or have a school stalker."

Tara: "Or change schools," I pointed out, though I'd never do that.

Jace: "Well, then there's nothing I can do about that. But I doubt you're going to change schools because of one adoring fan."

Tara: "An adoring fan who doesn't even know me. Betya don't even know my last name."

(might disappear for ten minutes or something. Don't freak out: i'm only doing homework)

(Wait! I don't know!)

Jace: "Do you want me to guess?"

Tara: "Sure."

(Jarboe)

Jace: "I'm sorry. I can't do that."

(*keeps it in mind*)

Tara: "You can't guess...?"

Jace: "I can guess...but I'm not sure if you want me to. You see, I don't think you really care."

Tara: "Care about...?"

Jace: I shake my head. "You don't care if I guess your last name or not, Ms. Jarboe."

Tara: I frowned. "You already know it, apparently."

Jace: "It wouldn't help to guess, would it?"

Tara: "Seriously, leave me alone!"

Jace: I back away. "Am I not worth another chance?"

Tara: "When did I ever give you the idea that you might be?" I said, a little harsher than I had meant to.
