Galen: i cocked my head to her and shrugged. "I'm sure i could find my way arund this damned city. Like you said: Why do you have to do his? I'm just taking charge."

Anastasia - "I'm not just going to let you roam around alone, I'm not that rude," I say.

Galen: I pulled a small phone out of my pocket. "I can find my way around, but I might need help turning this insufferable thing on." I muttered.

Anastasia - "A cell phone?" I laugh and hold my hand out for it.

Galen: I nodded and handed her the phone. She turned it one and I took it back, fiddling with it for a moment before sighing.

Anastasia - "It's really different back there isn't it," I sigh daydreaming about the home I've never seen.

Galen: I smiled softly, thinking back to hme. I pulled out my mirror shard frod the city of glass, showing her. "In some ways it is, I suppose."

Anastasia- "Sometimes I wish I was there," I say solemnly. "I wish I had been raised there."

Galen: "I can see why. Shadow Hunter training is much more available than here and you start at a much earlier age. I suppose there are more demons there, though."

Anastasia - "That's part of the reason I want to go to Idris," I sigh, "don't get me wrong, I love hunting, but I never get a break, and everytime I try and hang out with Kyle, who is my best friend, something always comes up and I have to go hunting, I never get any time to just be me."

(That made no sense... The beginning part. Well, anyway, I have to go and sleep. O.O Night.)

Galen: I nodded. "I understand," I said and then paused. "No, I really don't. I've never had an actual friend. My parents kept me in confinement while I trained, as to keep away distractions and while hunting I never really got the chance to socialize," I shurgged.

Anastasia - "Well then," I smile, "I'll be your first friend, come on, let's show you around the great city of New York!"

Galen: I smiled a dimpled smile and we started off. "Are there many demons out here?" I asked as we walked by an elderly woman who stared at my as we passed.

Anastasia - "Yeah, they usually go to the clubs, so that's where I hunt," I say. "We'll go to one tonight if you want, but right now I have to take you to the best pizza place in New York City!"

Galen: Pizza? Hmmm, pizza. I guess I'd have to roll with it. "Okay... Explain pizza to me real quick." I questioned.

Anastasia - "I can't explain it, you must first experience it," I laugh as I pull him into the place.

Galen: The smell hit me like one of the big trucks I had seen outside. I wasn't sure what it was, but I couldn't say it was bad. She went up and ordered two pizza. Plural of pizza... Pizzas? Ugh.

Anastasia - "You'll like it," I tell him and take the pizzas to a table in the back.

Galen: I shrugged and sat across from her at the table, pickin up a piece and examining it. It had orange liquid dripping off it and immediately my guard was up. "Are you sure it's not toxic?" i asked.

Anastasia - "I'm sure, that's grease and it's definitely not toxic," I laugh as I start eating a piece.

Galen: I took a small bit and rolled it around in my mouth. My eyes widened slightly and I smiled, nodding. "Yeah, this is alright."

Anastasia - I smile at him, "I told you it was good," I took another bite.

Galen: I finished a slice and a half befopre pausing and shaking my head. "Oh god... I'm never eating this again." I said, feeling naseous. I had probably eaten to quickly.
