Mint: I got on my clothes as quickly as possible and tugged on his sleeve, "I'm done," I murmured, "I want to sleep now please. I feel like it's coming closer to us."

The two things I learned from my almost-killing-Lord-Mint experience?

1) It hurt and scarred.
2) I wanted to again.

"Just..." I start, but begin to sob, and walk over into the strangers arms.

I'm truly crazy now, aren't I?

Kay: "Alright, um..do you want me to lay on the floor like last time?" I question

Mint: I shook my head, "No!" I yelled at him, "I told you you'd be sleeping with me tonight." I tugged on his sleeve again, "Quickly!" I glanced over my shoulder and quickly put my gaze back down, he was out there.

Asher: As I took each step, a smile became bigger and bigger on my face. It was night once more, and it was time for the true head of the house to take over again.

Arlo: I bit down on my lip and wrapped my arms gingerly around her. "Miss, what happed to you?" I asked, pulling back?

Gemma: I looked out my window and my eyes started to play tricks on me, shadows darting about the forest, taunting me. My heart started to beat faster, but I didn't look away. The were coming closer to the forest and in a gust of wind, they scaled the wall. I jumped back with a quiet squeal.

Kay:I nod and lay beside him. I turn to face the door, my body tense and on high alert.

Vasilisa: I shiver and open my eyes to see the sun leave and the moon arrive. I tremble slightly, he wouldn't be able to find my scent. I bury myself even deeper in the hay and ratty old blankets and cloaks.

Mint: I snuggled up close and closed my eyes, shaking slightly. It was colder than usual and I felt a chill run up the back of my neck. "But what about my back Rat!" I yelled at him, "What if it gets me from the back and you were too busy paying attention to the door!"

Asher: I licked my lips when I got to ground level and closed my eyes. I could smell more fear than the last night, and this time, certain people do have a right to have fear. I slipped down the hall, ready to go and count my girls like I had to every night. As I started my count I realized there was someone missing. There was no scent of anxiety like there always was from the one girl I took the night before. I growled and balled my fist.

Kay: I wrap my arm around him, "You will be fine." I reassure him.

Vasilisa: I took deep breaths calming myself down. I hold the book cloer to me feeling calm.

Mint: I froze and looked up at him, "What are you doing?" I asked, my voice shaking as well. I looked down at his arm around me and felt the blood rush to my cheeks.

Asher: I'll have to deal with the other problems after this scum is dealt with. I smiled, I felt like Mint calling someone scum. I slipped on my coat, after taking it from the closet swiftly and moved out of the mansion.

Kay: "Just sleep," I murmur. "I won't let anything happen to you."

Vasilisa: I fall asleep feeling semi safe.

Mint: I nodded slowly and scooted over to grab my Looney, snuggling back to the position I was in before. I held him close to my chest and put my head on Rats chest. "You're not mad at me anymore, right?"

Asher: I didn't like being betrayed by my maidens, and no one gets out of it without a punishment. I got down to the village and hid in the shadows I always hide in. It was better not to be seen.

Kay: "no sir,"I mumble.

Vasilisa: I continue to sleep feeling calm and oddly safe. i took comfort in the hay around me.

Mint: "You don't sound focused on protecting me Rat," I growled, holding onto his arm that was around me tightly. I couldn't hide that I was terrified, and I couldn't help but yell at somebody.

Asher: I picked up a faint, soft scent of a young girl, but I couldn't tell if she was sacred or not. I scuffed, she probably thinks she's safe now, even though she's far from it. I slipped through the shadows, toward the scent, making no noise and leaving no trace of myself.

Kay: "The first technique in protecting is staying calm and alert,"I say.

Vasilisa: I bury myself even deeper and saw a trap door leading into a secret compartment. I quickly open it and went in, I shut the door and made sure it was covered by the bales of hay. I curl up in the corner masking my scent even further.

Mint: "How would you know? You've never protected someone before," I muttered and drove my nails into his skin when a breeze blew across the room. Was there a window open or something?

Asher: It was becoming fainter, clouded by other scents. It was strange, but slightly obvious that the person was trying to hide themselves. It had to be my stowaway. I smiled and moved quickly, coming to a dark place. All there was was a big pile of hay and some sticks.

Kay: "I didn't just take care of myself on the streets,"I say and sigh. "Calm down."

Vasilisa: I close my eyes hugging the book tighter to my chest.

Mint: I loosened my grip, "I'm sorry," I whispered and saw red on his arms. I looked at him, "I didn't mean to mark you Rat, that's horrible of me." I frowned, "Now you can hurt me if you want."

Asher: I could smell a slight scent of human blood from the hay and moved it all with one swipe. I smirked, a trap door? Really? I pulled my fist back and punched it, smashing it into pieces.

Kay: "I don't work like that,"I say shaking my head.

Vasilisa: My eyes widen and I clutch the book until my knuckles were white.

Mint: I swallowed when his hair fell off of his neck when he shook his head. "Rat..." I murmured and touched the middle of his neck, "What do you think I am?"

Asher: I smiled and cocked my head to the side, "Tell me," I hissed, "What made you think you could get away from your worst nightmare?" I grabbed her wrist, making her drop the book, and pulled her out.

Kay: I swallow,"I don't know."

Vasilisa: I struggle against him, I try and reach for the book.
