Elias pulled away from Kayden, both of them flushed. They took several breaths before plunging back in. Somehwere during the kiss, Kayden spoke. "Aren't you worried... Y'know, about your roomies walking in?" He asked.

"Yeah, maybe we should," Zo said, starting back up the stairs, biting his lip.

Gwen bit her lip. "That really sucks," she said, actually sounding like she cared. It was weird, for her to connect with a stanger like this, but it happened.

Selena: I followed Zo up the stairs, and Elias' friends door was open. His name was Kayden or something? I knocked, but peeked in. Then I froze. Elias and Kayden were up against the wall, making out. "Oh. My. God." I breathed.

Kayden jumped off Elias, his hand slapped over his mouth and then he nearly collapsed in a chair, looking away. Elias saw Selena and Zo, too and his eyes went wide with fear. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god," he said, standing up and shaking his head.

Selena: I took a deep breath. "So...you're gay. No big deal." I said it convincingly, too, not in a sarcastic manner. "This explains a lot."

Elias' head snapped up. "I'm not gay," he said, but it was more like a long breath. He looked a little flustered, and he was almost afraid that he would smile, which would blow his hold facade into the water.

Selena: "It's okay if you are...we'd all still love you like our brother." I closed my eyes, not able to look at him and Kayden. If I did then...I wouldn't be able to sound so sincere.

Elias took a step forward. "Open you eyes and tell me that." His voice was low, almost pleading. "Selena... I'm not gay. Confused, yes, but I'm not gay." Kayden got up, waltzing out of the room, shaking his head, his eyes still wide.

Selena: I opened my eyes. "We will still love you, if you are gay, Elias. And from what I just saw you are most definitely gay. Or bi."

"Or confused," he said, insisting. He wanted to lock himself up and never come out. That or just die and make everything easier. "Selena... You're not going to tell anyone are you?" He asked, his voice pleading. He noticed that Zo hadn't actually been in the door, so maybe he hadn't seen anything.

Selena: I bit my lip, and hesitated, before shaking my head 'no'. "It's not my secret to tell, so I won't. Promise."

Elias tried to smile, but failed. "Thanks," he said.

Selena: I nodded slowly, stiffly turning away. "I'm gonna go now. But, actually maybe I should go talk to Kayden? Yeah." I went in the direction I'd seen him go. Not much of a welcome for him, huh?

Kayden sat in the living room, his eyes wide and holding a distant look. He looked like he was in shock. Way to make a good first impression on her.

Elias left Kayden's room and flopped down on his own bed, groaning.

Selena: I walked down to the living room, and stood in front of him. I waved a hand in front of his eyes, trying to snap him out of his daze. "...Kayden. Buddy, you in there?"

Kayden released a startled laugh and looked up, his eyes still slightly wide. "Yeah..." He said. "Um.. I don't even know where to start... I'm so sorry," he blurted, though he knew he shouldn't be apologizing.

Selena: I smiled kindly. "You don't have to be sorry. You can't help...that you're gay. If Elias is happy...it's all good."

Kayden smiled at the chance to explain himself. "I'm not gay... I like girls, too. And Elias... he really is confused. He was on drugs the first time we kissed," he said, not sure if he should be disclosing that information. "And he kept mumbling about some girl."

Selena: I let out a sigh. "Well, would it be too horrible if I asked you not to try and provoke him again? Not try to kiss him for a bit? Give him time to sort out his feelings?"

Kayden laughed a little more this time, no humor in it. "Yeah, sure. I won't try aything," he said, but if Elias tried something... He wouldn't stop him.

Selena: "Though, I guess if Elias makes a move on /you/," I sighed, running a hand over my face. "Then that means he's made his choice, so feel free to go along with it."

Kayden was struck by a moment of boldness. "Do you have something against gay people?" He asked, like he was completely curious.

Selena: "No," I said, taken aback. "I just don't want Elias to be pushed into something he isn't sure about. Believe me, I love gay people. I'm a dancer, so I come across a lot of them in show business."

Kayden smiled, sitting down and looking forward. He wasn't sure if coming here was the right thing for him.
