All I want is to mess around.

Vince- "Uh... Hey. Um... Could you help me? I can't find my room and they didn't give me a map."

I turn back around, a weakness of mine is I always help when asked, no matter what "What's your room number?" I asked in a soft voice

Vince- Relief washes over me to find someone nice around here. Other than my old pal Jake. "Room 457. My friend lives on the same hall but I don't know where he is right now."

Hey, that's in the same hall as... I shoved the thought out of my mind "Follow me" I said, then started walking over. The dorms' monitor would kill me if he saw me in the boy's dorms again, but I didn't care

Vince- "Thanks," I say as I follow behind her. "I'm Vince by the way."

Elli
I stopped in my tracks "Vincint Huntings?" The guy Jake used to talk about?

Vince- "Ugh. Yeah that's me. I've changed so I don't know why my parents sent me here. Juvy changes a person."

Elli
He didn't even ask how I knew his name, so I kept guiding him to the dorms "Okay then"

Vince- "So I take it you know Jake? Are you the Elli girl he never stops talking about?" I ask her.

Elli
I blushed slightly. He talks about me? "Yeah, I am" I said quickly

Vince- "Well I'm glad you're such a good friend to him since I couldn't be this past year. You really left a mark on him. A good one."

Elli
My throat tightened "Jake and I haven't been speaking lately" I said coldly

Vince- "Oh. Well... He wants to talk to you. A lot." Then I shut up.

Elli
"I can't" I whispered "I just /can't/, okay? I don't even know where he is right now!"

Vince- "Oh, okay." Then i just shut up and follow her.

Elli
I lead him to his room without another word, not looking at Jake's room as we passed it "Here we are"

Vince- "thanks. uh... I'll see you around then?"

Elli
"Maybe" I said with a sigh.

Lockie: I was zoned out in my music, and accidentally ran into someone. I was snapped from my daze. "Oh, sorry Zach!" I said with a smile. I was nice to everyone for the most part, even though a lot of them were really 'rough' around here.

Jake- "No problem." I return the smile.

Alex- "Ah. And how've the teachers been treating you? Most of them treat me like shit but that's nothing new to me." I say with a small smile.

Lockie: I took my earbuds out, winding the cord around my hand so that it wouldn't get tangled up later. "So, what's up?"

Zach- "Just walking around, enjoying the sunshine. How've you been?"

Lockie: I beamed, tilting my head up to catch some of the warmth from the sun. I see why he'd just walk around doing this, I sure would. "Pretty good, I got some new music! As long as I avoid the creeps, I've been having a good time."
