After a long, bloody war between Lycans and Vampires, a treaty has finally been signed. (Yeah, it's gonna be one of those chats...) Though there is peace, the tension in the air is still palpable. Everyone is saying that there are guerilla fighters, scanning over enemy lines, but that could just be a rumor. No one knows what's really happening, but it doesn't feel good. The royal sons and daughters of each family want to make it a point to throw a ball to show that they are getting along and set a positive example. Everyone is invited, so the real question is... Maggie: I sighed, letting my lady in waiting tighten to mock corset around my waist. She seemed to be enjoying it, each gasp that was forced out of my lips. I knew she wasn’t particularly fond of me. I waltzed down to my sister’s room, peeking in the door. My gown dragged on the floor slightly, the white dress had black lace covering it and had volume at the bottom, giving me the look of a flower. “Hey, Tatiana, you almost ready?” I asked with a small smile.

Valentine: I knocked on the castle door and was invited into the ballroom. There were already lycans here and I could feel their unwelcome gaze. I didn’t know how they had the nerve to make me feel unwelcome… After all, this was the vampire castle.

Orion: When I had arrived, I had met my friends, smiling a little and trying to steer clear of any vampires. I knew we were at peace, but it still was unsure, the air uneasy. I didn’t want to be the spark that ignited the fire.

Aven: I adjusted my crown, sitting at the far wall of the room, in the throne set for the oldest lycan prince. Next to me was a place for my sister and then there were three seats to my right, where the vampire princesses would sit. I swallowed and put on a small smile, trying to make myself more presentable. Tonight would be a long night, but it would be worth it, not to have a war brewing anymore.

Tatiana - I twirled around in my black ballgown and nodded, "Yes I'm ready." I told Maggie. We made our way down to the ballroom. I adjusted my tiara and saw our seats. "Do we have to sit Maggie? I wanna dance," I pouted as I kept my eyes locked on Aven, the lycan prince, who was sitting on his throne.

Ethan - I walked around trying to avoid the vampires until I saw Valentine, a good friend. "Hey buddy."

Valentine: I looked up, honestly not sure if Ethan was talking to me here. When I was sure, I smiled. “Hey,” I said. “How are you?” I looked past him a little, to see two of the vampire princesses walking down, the stairs into the ballroom. I was nearly in awe.

Maggie: “Yes… We do have to sit, but only for a while. Then we can dance, though sadly, I think we all have to dance with him,” I said, glancing at Aven as I took my seat. My mouth wrinkled in distaste, but I shook his hand and plastered on a fake smile anyway. I glanced at my sister and hoped that she’d be good. I had a feeling things would start going down hill as soon as Monica arrived. She had the idea that everyone hated her, which just made people irritated.

Aven: I put on a disarming smile and looked at the princesses. “Good evening, princesses,” I said, trying to be as kind as possible. It actually came out as convincing. I shook their hands and took my seat again, gaining a few concerned looks from some vampires.
