Maggie: "I'll try to be on my best behavior so this evening can be pleasurable for both of us," I smirked, looking to my feet.

Orion: "Yeah, I guess you're right, but you don't have the whole 'strength thing' on your side," I smirked.

Valentine: "Monica, if I may be so bold; I think you've drank quite enough for tonight." I flinched back, just incase she exploded.

Ethan - "Only tonight?" I teased gently.

Tatiana - I shook my head, "Well no," I bite my lip, "but we do have extraordinary charm."

Monica: "I haven't drunk anything this evening, Valentine." I giggled.

Valentine: "If you insist," I said, eyeing the half gone cocktail in her hand. "I'll have to be going now," I said, ready to speak with other people.

Maggie: "Well tonight /is/ the royal ball, unless... You'd like to see me again," I smiled gently, raising an eyebrow.

Orion: "Yes, you are a very charming species, but I suppose we could be, too, if we tried."

October runs over to me smiling. "Lati."
"Hello," i greet, not really sure what else to say. I come to a stop on the piano, though the rest of the band still plays.
She looks around the room. "Peace, huh?"
Something about the way she said it... "What?"
She looks up at me. "People are chatting, but it still feels so segregated. Only the royals are chatting with the opposite group, it seems."
I frown. "You don't know that..."

Ethan - "I would love that Princess." I smiled at her with a wink.

Tatiana - I laughed, "Most likely, but then again you always resort to brute strength rather than strategic intellect and charm."

Orion: "I, for one, am a very strategic Lycan," I said, smiling a little.

Maggie: "As would I," I said as we dropped into a dip.

"But Lati, don't you see it?" He frowns, looks away. Like some of the other vampires to the lycans in the room, just chatting away in their usual groups and pretending the others don't exist. "Don't treat me like that. I'm your sister."
His eyes stray back to me, guilt present on his expression. So he did think me that way, huh? "So what's the difference? So long as we aren't fighting anymore..." But there was a tone of disappointment to his voice.
I clench my teeth. "We aren't all like the one who attacked me," i growl at him.
"I know that..." He runs a hand through his hair. "Can we not do this here?" He whispers over.

Valentine: I saw a lycan and a vampire arguing, face to face and I became alarmed. I walked in and quickly interviened. "Um, I don't mean to but in, but you really shouldn't be fighting here unless you want to be thrown out."

Ethan - "I would be honored," I said not letting her out of my arms.

Tatiana - "Oh no, it's the end of the song." I pouted slightly.

Maggie: I smiled as the music started back up and we began to dance again. Normally, I would have never let myself get this comfortable around a lycan, but he was different.

Orion: "Would you like to talk with me?" i asked.

I sigh out. "Valentine," i greet. "Sorry."
"No reason to be," October murmurs. "I think we're allowed some sibling rivalry."

Valtentine: My eyebrow quirked up and I snapped to look at her. "Siblings you say?" My voice was smooth. "Care to explain?"

I see Latimier wince at the corner of my eye. "A rogue lycan attacked our parents and i while he was away at college. I was Changed and Lati sought to become a vampire for revenge," i tell him anyway. It's about time someone bridges the gap.

Steph: I smiled back to him and spun, letting the skirt of my dress bell out before going back to his arms to dance as a pair again.

Aven: The song ended and let my arms fall with a small smile. "Well I suppose I should go back to my throne," I said.

Valentine: I nodded, a little taken back by her story. "But he's not going to fight, correct?" I asked, just to make sure.

Orion: "Please, Tatiana, fell me about yourself," I smiled.

Maggie: We danced for a few minutes when I met his eyes again, smiling shyly. I couldn't let myself be taken by him, not here, at least.

Steph: "Yeah..You should." I sighed. Well there goes my entertainment.
