Perfection

Today, the Alkson School for the Gifted and Talented has accepted you out of hundreds of candidates for their prestigeous school. On the first day of the new school year, you are showed around. Here all the dorms. Here is the cafeteria and the gym. The theater. The principal, a handsome man named Adrian Alkson greets you kindly and asks if you have anymore questions. Beging him is a plaque on the wall written in large cursive script.

Rules and Regulations of the Alkson School for the Gifted and Talented.
1.Under no circumstances will students be permitted to be about after ten o clock pm.
2.Doors will never be locked.
3.Manners are credited above all else.
4.Grades will stay at at least a 3.0.
5.Calls taken outside of the office will not be permitted.
6.There will be no wondering off school grounds unless supervised by a teacher.
7. Cursing, back talking, and rude behavior will not be tolerated.
8. Be the best you you can be.

For some reason, the last rule echoes in your mind. The best you you can be. Its a somehwat cheesy saying, and yet you can feel droplets of cold sweat running down your forehead. The principal clears his throat. You jump as you look back at him. "Any questions?" he repeats. You slowly nod no. "Good. I hope you will enjoy your stay here at The Alkson School. Please, feel free to talk to me if anything should come up." You nod slowly and he turns around and walks back to his office.
All the while, you can't help but wonder just what exactley you've gotten yourself into.

I wanna be in this but I'm leaving in five minutes and it will be too advanced by the time I get back.

Cool, thanks just as a recap though, what exactly does being an Outcast entail?

Outcasts must have scars somewhere on their body, wear all black (not in an emo way necesarily), are abnormally strong and fast, heal quick, but can never eat or talk to normal people (although this rule is definately gonna get broken) and occasionally have side effects from their "initiation." They can't talk to their family, whose memories of them have mysteriously been erased, and instead of graduating, something way worse happens.

Personality: Can be a little over emotional at times, but feels very at home in high-stress situations, in fact, she functions really well under stress

Name: Charlie Pendleton
Age: 18
Appearence: Tall and lanky, olive toned skin, curly hair that seems to change color by the day, one ear is pierced and he wears glasses.

What got you here?: Fencing and skating. Was the "king of the skaters," but was never good with grades. Is now one of the outcast leaders and is "graduating" this year.

Appearence: Medium height, caramel colored skin, hazel eyes, dreads halfway down back, an innocent face.
Clique: Artsy kids
What got you here?: A great artist, majors in making sculptures. However, he's always stealing things to make them.
Note: His sister is one of the people showing the students around.

What got you here: She's an amazing athlete and Arthur's sister. Her obvious skills made her one of the heads of the school despite being so young.

Neely: I let out a long yawn and stretch my fingers to the ceiling. These tours are always so boring, but Katie's sick so I automatically had to do it. "And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the tour. Does anyone have any questions?"

Elena: I look around, holding my camera at the ready, trying to find good photo ops.

Declan: I roll my eyes at Elena and at this stupid tour.

Charlie: "Those are the new kids, huh?" I ask. Carin had set up a couple of cameras around the school and they zoom in on Alkson's new projects. A brother and sister and another kid. I light up a cigarette and blow smoke into the camera screen. God help them now.

Neely: "I'll take that as a no," I say when no one says anything. Must be a tough crowd. "What are your room assignments? I'm supposed to show you your new rooms."

I walked into the room with the noobies, snapping pictures and dreaming up captions. New students were always front page material

Elena: I look at Neely. "Uh..." I say as I glance down at my paper.

Declan: I could care less what room I was assigned, so I paid Neely no attention.
