Perfection

Neely: "Hey, paparazzi," I sniff. I don't know why, but the newspaper cronies always had a way of rubbing me the wrong way. Well, most of the other cliques do. Especially this prick. "Mind taking that camera somewhere else?"

Elena: "Neely, where would the assignments be on the papers?"

Daniel
"Yes, I /would/ mind, dear Neely" I muttered sarcastically, snapping more pictures of the new kids, trying to capture their reactions to the school. Then I took a few obligatory pictures of Neely, to. Partly because the tour guide needed to make an apperence on the article about the tour, partly because I knew it would bug her

Declan: I stared at Neely, waiting to see what her reaction would be.

Neely: It takes everything I have not to flick him off like I would've back home. That kind of thing definately doesn't fly here. I turn back to the girl whose name I've already forgotten and look down at her paper. "Right here," I say. "Room 63." That nerdy girl's room, I think. I look over at her brother's paper. "And you're in 86 in the boy's ward. I think that's my brother's room, but I'm not sure."

Elena: "Thanks."

Declan: I just shrug my shoulders. "What I can't stay with you?" I smirk.

Daniel
After I've taken my pictures, I turn to the girl with notepad in hand "Name, age, and grade?" I ask each new kid in turn

Elena: "I'm Elena. I'm 17 and I'm a junior."

Neely: "Trust me, you don't want to," I say, brushing off the comment. As if the Outcasts wouldn't catch him the minute he stepped foot in my room.

Declan: I stare at her, intrigued.

Elena: I look at Declan and glare at him, smacking him in the stomach and he cringes over.

Daniel
I nod, then write it down. Next, I turn to her brother "Name, age, and grade?"

Declan: "Go away." I say to the news reporter.

Carin: "Hey, Carrie?" I ask as I wander away from Charlie and the others. "Let's go get some food," I say even quieter. I'm one of the newer people here, and I still can't understand how everyone can be so content with starving for weeks on end. At least, until we go hunting.

Daniel
I sigh "Fine, fine, you decline interveiw." Then I turn to the last kid "Name, age, and grade?"

Carrie
I nod, standing up from the bench. My stomach growled as if to enforce my desition "Where to first?"

Declan: I step away from the group and wander off down the hall.

Carin: "Cafeteria maybe?" I ask and then back track. "Nah, it must he filling up with people now. We could try scaring the new Kidd into giving us food, but Charlie would murder us." It didn't mean I didn't want to do it.

Neely: 'Go away,' huh? I can't decide if this guy's a jerk or not yet, but he's already got points in my book. "Anyway," I say, interrupting the newspaper reporter."Its almost time for breakfast. You guys know the way to the cafeteria, right?"

Carrie
"Hm... or we could even try and get that one annoying reporter kid to get us food, he'll probably be all nice to us 'cause he's hoping for a story" I laugh humorlessly.

Elena: I make my way to the cafeteria and take a seat after I grab some food.

Declan: I somehow end up in the cafeteria along with all the others and take a seat with the rest of the athletes.

Carin: "Good point..." I say. I look back at Charlie, who's completely distracted with the camera. I flip my hood over my head, trying not to look at the scars that now cover them and sealed my fate as an Outcast. "Lead the way."

Carrie
I nod "He'll probably be interviewing the new kids, don't you think?"

Neely: I gran my food just as a few Outcasts wander in, looking as hungry as ever but avoiding everyone's gaze and heading straight for their tables. I keep down a shudder as one walks dangerously close by me and manage to did my table, where my friends are starting to ask the new kid questions. I raise am eyebrow. An athelete, huh?

Declan: I glance up at Neely and a smirk slides onto my face.

Carrie: "We'll have to lure him away then," I say. "Since Charlie's looking at the cameras now. Supply closet near the stairs?" That was where we first met him when he asked for a story.

Neely: "Don't tell me you're stalking me," I say as I take a seat inbetween the boy's basketball and soccer captains.

Declan: "No, just taking my rightful place." I say smiling and turning to the girl beside me.

Carrie
I nod "Good idea. But how do we get him down there?"
