Carin: My jaw practically drops to the floor. I try my best to hold my composure, but it's almost too much. "T-Thank you," I say, my eyes latched onto the food.

Carrie
He gave Carin the tray, it was enough to feed quite a few people "Divvy it up with whoever you want to" he sighed, then looked at me again. I knew he was thinking about the kiss. Dangit

Carin: Its a lot of food, but it'll probably only feed Carrie and I today. I sit it on a clean former of the bed and pick out a stack of pancakes, drowning them in syrup. Part of me whines, saying that we should share with the others. But maybe they should've come along too.

"I don't feel right about this, Carin" I muttered "We should probably save some for the others. All for one and one for all, right?"

Carin: "Bit we got it..." I say softly. I lower the syrup and frown, thinking of how people'd bite their nails for lack of food. "Fine, fine. You win."

Wanna have Neely and the news guy meet up?

Carrie
"Yeah, if we were being /that/ unfair, only I would eat 'cause I kissed him. Now let's go, everybody is going to freak from getting food" I smile

Carin: "If we don't get in trouble for getting it in the first place. There's always the possibility that this could backfire."

Carrie
"Yup, we could get into some serious trouble" I said nervously "But let's go"

Carin: I nod and let her lead me back down to the basement. When we open the door again, the first thing I see is Charlie waving a videotape in our faces. "Saw you three times," he sniffs.

Carrie
I sighed, rolling my eyes "Who cares, we have food!"

Carin: People instantly jump up at the sound of food and I almost take off running with it. But Charlie takes in the food, looks back behind us, and then waves us in. "Ok, hurry up. And don't anyone touch that food until I get over there."

Carrie
I sit down at the table as the other Outcasts crowded around. My stomach growled again

Charlie: I swear, we could all be killed for this. I run around thebroom and start locking all the doors, grabbing a blanket that we'd have to burn later and sitting the food on top of it. "Listen up, cuz I'll onky say this once!" I say. "No one smuggles any food; what you don't eat now will be eaten by someone else, end of story. I want every last crumb off your face and nothing- I repeat, nothing- on youir clothes. Is that understood?" When everyone nods, I take out my knife and start measuring out portions. My stomach's in knots and I have to keep swallowing to keep from drooling. Damn, it smells so good.

Carrie
I ate my portion slowly, making sure to savor every bite. It was a lot less then we would have gotten, but it was worth it. I had a strong loyalty to our little group, even if I could get on people's nerves with my theatrics sometimes

Carin: I finish way too quickly. I sit on the floor licking my hands, secretly wishing we hadn't told anyone at all. Charlie wraps the blanket up and sticks it in a corner before telling people who spilt something and needs to go change and who needs to rinse their mouths out.

I was still really hungry, but at least it was /something/, even if I had to kiss Luke "So what's the plan now?" I asked, tilting my head
