I'm on a blind date. Now what?

Heather: "Oh, then we should definitely go!" I nodded energetically, as we piled into the seats for Splash Mountain. There had been a short line for some odd reason.

Clayton: Elise and I got in the seat behind Heather and Riley.

Riley: Heather still hadn't let go of my hand, but it felt nice, so I didn't try to wrestle it away. "Ready?" I asked her.

Elise: Suddenly, I wondered if I was ready for the roller coaster. "Well, here goes," I said.

Heather: "Yup, just don't let me fall off, like you promised." I scooted closer to him in the seat.

Clayton: I frowned. "Are you afraid of roller coasters?" I had noticed the look on her face.

Riley: I grinned and squeezed her hand. "Don't worry. I'm right here," I said.

Elise: I shook my head. "I'm fine. I've just...never been on a roller coaster before."

Heather: I was about to reply when the roller coaster started up, and we plummeted down.

Clayton: "Never?! Whoa that's crazy -" I was cut off as the ride began.

Riley: I grinned, looking over at Heather, who looked like she was having a good time. Well, that was good.

Elise: I nodded and screamed as we started going down. How had I been talked into this? I shut my eyes and just hoped I didn't die.

Heather: I actually wasn't afraid of roller coasters at all, it had been a lie. I screamed happily on the way down.

Clayton: I chuckled as the girls screamed.

Riley: "Having fun?" I yelled at Heather as the wind rushed past us.

Elise: "This is awful!" I complained.

Heather: "Heck yeah!" I giggled. Uh-oh, here came the "splash" part. We were thrust into a pool, but the ride swerved just in time so we weren't submerged in water.

Clayton: I would have said something back to Elise, but it was hard to talk over the roar of the ride.

Riley: I forgot about the water. But that was probably what "splash" meant.

Elise: Now I was soaking wet! I'd forgotten about this. When we finally got out of the ride, I was shaking so badly I didn't think I could get out without help.

Heather: I giggled as we got off, and squeezed the water from my ponytail. "That was awesome!"

Clayton: I tugged off my sweatshirt, which was mostly dry, and handed it to Elise with a smile. "Here, you look cold."

Riley: I grinned at Heather. "Yeah, it was. Have fun?"

Elise: I shivered, taking the shirt from him. "Thanks," I said.

Heather: "Obviously. Now on to Animal Kingdom?"

Clayton: "No problem."

Riley: I nodded. "Sure, let's go." I turned to the others. "We have to wait for them, though."

Elise: I finally managed to get out of the cart and smile weakly at everyone.

Clayton: I steadied Elise by putting a hand on her arm, then let go as she got out. "I think we're ready."

Heather: "Great!" I had dropped Riley's hand, and was practically bouncing as we walked.

Elise: I grinned at Clayton. "Thanks," I said.

Riley: I grinned too as we started walking to Animal Kingdom. "Which way are we going?" I asked.

Heather: "Uh..this way!" I pointed straight ahead. "No, wait. That way?" I pointed in a different direction, then gave up with a shrug. "I don't know which way."

Clayton: I pulled out a map. "Let's see..."

Riley: I grinned. "That's fine. Take your time."

Elise: I finally got over the shock of being soaked and waited for everyone to figure out the directions.

Clayton: "That way." I pointed, folding up the map.

Heather: I started off. "Okay!"

Riley: I felt the tug and laughed. "Slow down," I joked.

Elise: I followed after them, handing Clayton's sweatshirt back to him. "Thanks."

Heather: I walked in slow motion. "This better?"

Clayton: I raised my eyebrows at her. "You're already done with it?"

Riley: I laughed. "No, it's fine. Do what you want."

Elise: I nodded. "California is pretty hot right now."

Heather: I smiled and continued to go at my first speed.

Clayton: "Well, okay. If you want it back just let me know."

Riley: I grinned. "That's more like you."

Elise: I nodded. "Okay. Thanks."

My MC isn't the type of person to go on a blind date, but let's just say her friends talked her into this for a laugh :L
