The Abandoned Toy Chest

I set the suitcase on a table, opening it quickly and making sure all my weapons were there- knifes, guns, small explosives... everything seemed to be in order. Then I closed the case, returning it to my side.

Iliana: As I came down the stairs, I saw some guy looking through a suitcase on a table. Was that - was that what I /thought/ I saw in the case? I blinked, walking casually over to him. "Nice suitcase you've got there." I studied his face discreetly, he looked familiar from somewhere. Where?

I turned around, crossing my arms as a small, amused smile tugged at the corners of my mouth. Alex stood beside me, silent. Luckily for me, I had sunglasses on, so she didn't see it when my eyes went red. FBI... interesting, maybe this WAS a trap. But she didn't seem to know who I was, yet "Why thank you, I picked it up from my last trip to France"

Iliana: "Really? What kind of things does one carry in a suitcase from France?" I asked carefully, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Clothes, what else?" I lied smoothly "Somebody's a little nosy, it seems"

Iliana: I shrugged. "Just curious, is all. Questions are labeled as nosy now? Hah." I thought for a moment, then stuck out my hand. I'd find out what was in there somehow. "I'm Iliana."

Dorian
I shake her hand "Dorian. Dorian Gray. It's a pleasure to meet you, Iliana" I gave her a slightly chilling smile

Iliana: The smile didn't have affect on me, not even close. I /had/ been training for years and years - practically my entire life. I took my hand back after a moment, looking at the girl next to him. "And who are you?"

Alex is a guy, full name Alexander.

"Alex, his twin brother" Obviously. I was a little softer then Dorian, my voice didn't have that edge of menace.

Iliana: "Because I couldn't tell you were related," Sarcasm tainted my voice. "Nice to meet you two. How come you came to the Doll House?"


^the mansion is called the Doll House, I guess.

I raised an eyebrow, and exchanged a look with Dorian "Doll House?" he asked

Iliana: "Did you not see the sign outside?" I asked slowly. "On the gate? This place is called the Doll House. I know - weird name, right?"

Dorian
"Interesting" Doll House. Great. I still wasn't exactly sure what this place was, actually. I thought about reading the girl's mind again, but decided it wasn't worth it "Where are the rooms?" Alex asked

Iliana: "Third floor." I would have offered to show him, but I got an odd feeling about Dorian, his brother. Like he knew what I was doing, trying to befriend them to find out about the suitcase.

My eyes sparkled, I knew her little game. I suppose I could have crushed her mind right there, but...

Fine. I wouldn't crush her mind, but I needed to keep one eye on her, and one eye on my briefcase. "Alright then, see you later" Alex said, sensing I wasn't going to say anything else

Iliana: I nodded once, then walked off to continue my search for a weight room. I'd find them later. Maybe if I targeted Alex in particular, it'd be easier. Dorian seemed to be the smarter of the two.

Eh, they're both pretty equal in intelligence, though Dorian is the more cunning of the two

We found our rooms, which looked eerily like our rooms back at the apartment we used to own. Strange, my suspicion that this was more then a place to stay was slowly growing.

that was just Iliana's observation.

Iliana: I searched and searched, but no weight room. I'd probably just have to go for runs, or do free running, instead. I actually loved free running, though mom and dad didn't think it was really "training." So maybe two miles every morning, four in the afternoon, and free running in between? That could work.

"I think I'm going to go on a walk around the mansion, get my barrings, you know?" I said, running a hand through my hair. Dorian nodded "I'll get the rooms set up" And by 'set up' he meant a security camera in each, and find a place to store the suitcase

Iliana: I began back up the stairs, to go change. Better start my new work out regimen now, instead of later, and I could hardly do it in this stupid Maybrook uniform I'd come in. Had to change into more comfortable clothes - shorts and a t-shirt, which I preferred anyway. I started on the second staircase, to the third floor.

Alex
I saw that FBI chick, and stuffed my hands in my pockets, avoiding eye contact. Without Dorian, I wasn't exactly sure what to do, he was the plan guy.

Iliana: "Oh hey Alex." Where was his brother? "Did you find your room alright?"

"Oh, yes. Thank you" I said, stuffing my hands in my pockets

Iliana: "What about your brother?" I sounded disinterested.

"Oh, he's back at the room unpacking" I said simply
