The Abandoned Toy Chest

Iliana: He's suitcase? I wondered. I just nodded, though. "So what are you up to? Exploring the Doll House?"

Alex
"Yes, just getting the lay of the land" I confirmed

Iliana: "Ahh." I nodded. "There seem to be a lot of people here...it's weird. I was invited here, no explanation. Do you know anything about why we're here?"

Alex
I shake my head "I know nothing or less, sorry" I chuckled "So who else is here?" There was something... off... like, another... "Have you happened to see a little girl with hazel eyes and brown hair?"

Iliana: "Uh, no. Why?" My brow furrowed.

Alex
I nod "Good. No reason, she's... my sister" I sighed. Not a lie, but it was more complicated then that. Though I couldn't help feel that she was nearby... what would Dorian say if he knew she was here?

Iliana: "Yet you don't know where she is?" I raised an eyebrow, speaking slowly and carefully. I shook my head slightly.

Alex
"She doesn't live with Dorian and I" I admit. What did she do, anyway? And how has the orphanage not caught up to her yet?

Iliana: "Oh. What makes you think she'd be here?"

Alex
"I could have sworn I saw her when we first arrived, but I wasn't sure"

Iliana: "Sometimes if you miss people, you start to hallucinate that they're there." Like with Jude, hallucinating his sister. Having conversations with her, everything.

That threw me off for about half a second

I shrug, not wanting to admit that neither Dorian nor I really missed her... in fact we're the ones that abandoned her when she was six "Maybe"

haha. Nope, different Jude.

Iliana: "Or not." I was good with reading people, there was something to this "Marley" girl. I wondered if she had to do with the mysterious suitcase. I shrugged and continued up the stairs. "See you at lunch."

"See you then" I confirmed, when I heard what sounded suspiciously like a crash coming from outside

Marley
Good news? My rope stopped my fall, and I hovered about two stories off the ground. Bad news? I had gotten careless, and made the same mistake I had made in Kansas... I cursed as I hit the ground, but nothing was broken

She could have heard the crash?

Iliana? Uh, okay.

Iliana: I heard a crash, and instantly thought it had to do with that Dorian guy, but probably not. I walked over to where I'd heard the noise, and looked down through a broken window to see a girl. "You must be the sister."

Marley
"Uh..." I mumbled, closing my eyes and opening them again "sure?" Then I stood up slowly, rubbing my back "Whatever /that/ means..." I was only a sister to Dorian and Alex, and they weren't... I cursed, realizing for the first time that there was a definate habui presence here... "My brothers are here?!"

Iliana: "Yup." I leaned on the windowsill. "I assume you want to get back up?"

Marley
"Um... no... I'm not supposed to be here" I admit. Though in a weird way, it felt like I /should/ be here.... then I looked in my bag to grab something. Hullo, what's this? An invitation for Marley Aldric to the Doll House?! "Okay, scratch that, apperently either my Writer or somebody else, by some strange twisted miricle, that knows my name, wants me to be here"

Iliana: I rolled my eyes and pulled something off of the belt that was concealed beneath my shirt. Another rope. I threw it straight to her. "Hang on and I'll pull you up."

Marley
I didn't trust this crazy chick... come to think about it, I didn't trust anybody, but I grabbed the rope anyway "Who are you?"

Iliana: "My *name* is Iliana," I said, not technically answering her question, I didn't want to get into it. I reeled her up, then recoiled my rope. "And your the sister, though I don't know your name."

Marley
I held out my hand "The name's Marley, nice ta meet ya... and my brothers are here? For real?" She probably had no idea what she was talking about... though... I shivered, grimacing. I hoped they weren't here...

Iliana: I shook her hand. "Yeah. I mean, there aren't that many girls your age running around, and they mentioned you."
