Aishe: "And you think lust is an emotion?"

Dan
I nod. "Isn't it just another way to say desire or love? Those are emotions."

Aishe: I raise an eyebrow. "Desire is an emotion?"

Dan
"I think so." I think a moment. "Desire can be a craving, or an obsession, or a simple dream for the future."

Aishe: I smile. "I don't consider that an emotion, then."

Dan
I shrug as our order comes, i stab a piece of salmon. "And the other half of lust?"

Aishe: "I told you. Impulse," I tell him.

Dan
"So there's no love in what you lust?" I ask, dunking it in soy sauce and chewing thoughtfully.

Aishe: I bite my lip. "I don't think I should answer that question now."

Dan
"Aishe..." I look back at her serious. "This /is/ how i was raised. I'm a slave, you as my master have the right to do whatever you wish to me, even if you do not want to think that way. You can lust without love. I'm fine with that."

Aishe: I sigh. "I don't think I can keep those two separate for much longer."

Dan
I smile. "Then don't."

Aishe: I feel my stomach twist. "What does that mean?" I ask, even though I was pretty sure I knew.

Dan
"Lust, and love," i say. "Don't separate them if you don't want to."

Aishe: I swallow. "Unless your life depends on it."

Dan
"I've accepted my fate." I cup her face in my hand. "I'm going to die sometime anyway. But if i can make you happy, i'd much rather spend a little time doing that then a lifetime doing nothing."

Aishe: I bite my lip again, this time tasting blood. "You aren't going to die."

Dan
I chuckle. "I'm sort of mortal, Aishe. I'm /going/ to die."

Aishe: I swallow, kissing him lightly. "Maybe not."

Dan
"What then? There's not really an in between," i say.

Aishe: I shrug. "I know."

Dan
I eat another, and raise an eyebrow at her. "What are you thinking?"

Aishe: I look away. "Nothing."

Dan
I smirk. "You're not braindead, i don't think."

Aishe: I roll my eyes. "Totally brain dead. Must have been all that drink."
