The Lost Colony

So, what happened? I'm going to split the people into two groups. One group stays at the encampment to try to survive while the other goes to Croatoan to live with the Indians. You can have two characters. Preferably one from each group.

Our Story So Far: The Leave group has just left the colony and are far out in the woods looking for the Indian camp. The Stay group are continuing with their normal lives in the colony.

Trintan: I only looked back once at my sister. She was crying and I felt so bad leaving her. I hoped that she would be in good hands. Then I wondered what kind of treacherous trail lied in front of me.

Fable: I stood waving off my brother, Trintan. He was going to try to find us a better place to live. I hoped dearly that we would could leave this place soon.

verena: i wave back valentine my twin brother i know he didn't want me leave but he couldn't stop me from going

valentine: i wish i could talk verena out of being part of the group that leaves i thought as i look verena leave and look at other family waving goodbye to their love one

Trintan: I turned away from my sister and to the woods. Some of the other men were taking off. And I followed them.

Fable: I let my tears fall freely as I turned to walk back toward my cabin. My food supply was so low. I was eating only a piece of bread and possibly some fruit or soup a day. I hoped that Trintan would come back soon. I made it to my cabin and opened the door. My cabin had four rooms. A kitchen, two small bedrooms, and a sitting room. I grabbed my Bible and went to my bedroom. I lied down on the bed and started reading.

verena: i make sure i didn't get left behind because that won't be good and just followed the group

valentine: i took my time going back to my cabin as i pray that verena will be alright

Trintan: I saw Verena and started heading her way. "Hey," I said, "you're really going to leave?"

Fable: I fell asleep in just a few moments. It wasn't hard.

verena:" yes i am trintan" i said to him

valentine: i went home and kept on praying until i fell asleep

Trintan: "I was hesitant. I didn't really want to leave Fable," I shrugged a little.

Trintan: I nodded and said, "Yes...You're one of the few women who decided to tag along. Impressive, I must say."

Fable: I woke up quickly from my nap. I looked at the sun and realized that it hadn't moved at all. At the least I had only slept for a few minutes. I decided to step outside. I went to the window and saw that some people were still saying their goodbyes.

Mercy: I wasn't sure what to do now.

Tom: "I really should go."

Verena: I nodded " impressive to most people but to me I could see myself doing this "

Tom: I pointed to Verena. "Hey, isn't she your friend?"

Trintan: "If you say so. Um...I think those people are pointing to you." I motioned toward two people who were standing near the edge of the woods.

Mercy: I nodded. "Hello, Verena. Are you leaving as well?"
