I see her conflict in her eyes and sigh. "I know it's hard now, but it will get easier as you get used to it. You have choices, Claire. Some of those will make you the monster you believe yourself to be. But do not think that. You haven't lost yourself, you haven't killed, you do not take without consent, and you do not think about what is now possible to corrupt you. That is what makes us monsters."
