The Unknown

Nate looked at her in confusion for a moment. "Why's that seem like a big deal to you?"

Marley
I laughed "You know, the Red River Rivalry and all."

Nate gave her a blank look. "Okay?"

Marley
"What, did you not live in Texas that long? The RRR has been going on for a really, really long time...huh, well, if you don't know, I'M sure not gonna explain it to you"

Sai
I look over. "Well, sir. I can tell you he doesn't have any haunting souls around him. He hasn't killed...at least, he hasn't killed in a while."

Nate chuckled, still completely confused. "What does it even deal with?"

Dane couldn't help but laugh. "Nate and his morals," he muttered, smiling at the irony that he saw.

Sai
I look over at the vampire talking with the girl. This one's soul is also older then he looks, though he's older. "Another vampire, hunting his brother? Some sort of grudge against him?"

Marley
"Football and stuff, forget I mentioned it. So..." I wondered if he was human, but I was too lazy to check

Dane shrugged again, smiling at the girl. "Yeah, pretty much. My name's Dane by the way," he added as if it were an after thought.

Nate changed the song again to Take My Hand by Simple Plan before looking over at Marley. "Did you want to go get anything to eat or drink?"

Marley
"Hm... I could go for a sandwich, definitely" My stomach growled in agreement "What about you?"

Nate smiled and shook his head. "I already ate," he muttered. "But I could go for something to drink. Where'd you want to go?"

I'm going to go you guys. Night!

"Well, they do have food here" I pointed out

Sai
I nod and smile. "Sai," i say in return. I'm curious, but i don't want to pry...

Nate laughed softly. "You have a point there," he said, glancing over at the food table. "C'mon, we'll leave the DJing up to someone else." He smiled down at Marley as he began to walk off stage.

Dane watched his brother for a moment, feeling every bit the stalker that he was. "So what's your story, Sai?" he asked.

Sai
I pull my hair over a shoulder and look back to Dane. "Nothing exciting. I'm just on my own, working most of the time, relaxation on my days off."

Dane nodded. "And what exactly is it that you do?"

Sai
I'm silent a moment, leaning forward to rest my head on my hand. "I help people deal with death. A therapist of sorts."

Dane snorted. "And I cause death. Figures."

Sai
I smile lightly. "I'm not one to listen to confessions though. Go to a priest for that."

Dane raised an eyebrow at her. "I'm not going to confess to you about anything. I've got no reason to want to confess my sins."

Oh my Lanta!!! You know what I just realized?! Today's Nate's birthday! *gasp*

Sai
I simply shrug. "You'd be surprised what people say with Death around."
